"As far as our favorite memory of our 1st Disney cruise, it would probably be the feeling when we walked into the atrium and they announced our family's name. I still get choked up and teary eyed so if I see you right then and don't talk it's because I won't be able to speak for a few moments without crying like a baby."

I'm so glad someone else has this issue. On our first cruise in 2005, I almost cried as soon as I saw the ship from the rental car. I don't really know how I held it together from that point until the sailaway party. I TOTALLY lost it when they blew the ships horn. I still do (even just from youtube videos) and I can't blame it on pregnancy like I did the first time.

oh goodness...i was so lost reading that lol. Wish I could speak another language, I used to could speak baby talk if that counts for anything , with 2 kids you learn alllllll kinds of new words

Helped my mom with her online check-in yesterday...made it seem even closer!!! Can't wait!

Now I have to find something really French to put in the fish extenders...

We spoke some French in the home. I read it fairly well but obviously my writing and speaking needs work. My "vernacular" and syntax are too American but I try. My Grand Pere was from France and my father although the family came across from Canada the French we spoke was closer to Parisian.

Thought I would take a stab at the old Fren-gle' LOL

Now does this sound like a woman who, really doesn't want to go???

She has never been to WDW, but I think she has caught the Disney bug already!!!!

I too am going on this cruise, and I posted on this thread months ago, but I just haven't had a chance to keep up with it.

I am looking forward to the cruise as this is my first Disney one. I bought a FE off of ebay, since I don't know how to sew. But what's next?

Finished my FE gifts (may have to do a few more of one if more join us)! I'm so excited. My DS keeps talking about the Disney Cruise--we have more than 2 months to hear this! I've already told DH that we are not telling him about the next one until we are on the plane.

Mousebrat-I'm glad SOMEBODY is done with their FE gifts lol! any chance of a sneak peak lol..just jokin'. I have planned 2 wks in a row to start on them and something always happens!!! Maybe this wk no one will get sick so I can start on them??? I hope!! I know what you mean about the kids being excited, except the only problem is I think I am as bad, if not worse, than the kids!!! I am 34 but a pooh sized kid still at heart i guess you'd say


CinderelliT- Welcome!! or is it Welcome back??? Glad you're gonna join us on the FE exchange!! Just send your info to DonMil ...I think we've decided of a cutoff date of Nov.3 so we can get a complete head count (someone correct me if i'm wrong!)

Sasser05- to go to the DISigns board, on the main Disboard page, instead of clicking on Disney cruise line link, scroll on down to the "Just for fun" section and click on the "creative disigns" option. Hope that helps..i'm not good at directions.

Looking forward to finally being able to get started on this trip..seems like i've been waiting forever!!!

Oh geez, guys! I am finding out exactly how "craft illiterate" I really am lol!!!

I started working on my FE tonight, got the body done, started on the pockets and man am I confused! I'll figure it out eventually i'm sure, but I don't do that much sewing and crafting so it'll take a while Hope to start on the FE gifts by end of the week or next wk.
