Hey Guys,

Just found your thread! We will be joining you on the NYE cruise! There will be my husband (Nick), Nick (17), Haley(15), Alexandra(8), Davis(7), my parents (Troy & Sue) and myself (Pam). You've heard the old saying... the cobblers children have no shoes, well this travel agent mom almost didn't have a cruise. I almost waited until too late. But am glad to see that there will be some exciting people on the cruise!!

Welcome aboard Pam and family!! I am the keeper of the DIS master list for this cruise. If you send me a pm with your stateroom numbers, I will add them to the list. Look on page 35 and 36 of this thread and you will see pictures of your fellow cruisers!!

My family is in the Walt and we are trying to organize a party sometime during the cruise!! We have my DD Jennifer (39) and DSIL Pete (his 41st first birthday day of cruise) GD Aspen (13), GD Bailey, and Spencer (8) in the Walt with us. Our youngest DD (22) Samantha is in her own room.

Look for our family at the sailaway in our green leis!!

I usually have a car when I am in town. Next week I know it won't work as I will be flying out on Thursday AM, meeting in the afternoon in San Jose and then taking the red-eye back the same night so I can be home to help chaperone 220 kids for a marching band competition on Friday night.

I'll be in a plane more than I will be in California

But I will definitely keep it in mind. I usually have some free time the evening I fly back.

We are sorry you won't have time this trip. Please do keep joining us for dinner when you are next in California. John and I would love to meet you before or after the cruise!!

Noel, i am planning on doing one per room. Depending on how many of us there are, i would love to do one gift per room per day!! That would be great! I started jotting down my gift ideas yesterday, i am looking forward to it! But there are only 3 of us so far --- care to join us???


BTW - don't remember if i told you guys, but MY stateroom is #5514, my inlaws are in #5512, and my sis in law is in #5516

Thanks for the stateroom update. I would love to join you. Pm me with some ideas. On our WB thread, we have teams and are doing one gift per day per person per stateroom so it is much more complicated. Each team is assigned a day because we have so many more DIS people on that thread!!

Custom Lifesavers/Chocolates
Mini Flashlight keychains
Name Badges
Pins for lanyards

Decks of Disney theme cards

glow sticks

and lots more! Also, to help people know who gave what, some have said they print out address labels with their info and cabin #, or Dis name so we know who gave out what.

But, i think with the small group that we have so far here participating, it should be fairly uncomplicated. And i am thinking i will be able to do "better" stuff, since their aren't many of us.

Sounds like you have some great plans!! Since we are a small group and don't want to duplicates, any suggestions how to handle that?

I have also heard that it is a good idea to print out business cards with your name and address to exchange with other fellow DISers so you can keep in touch!!
