Ok question for all you.. when - what day are you booking palo? I am so afraid to miss a special night of dining.. (pirate night, formal etc..) or are you booking brunch?

I was thinking of doing a private Palo brunch for a sea day.

BTW-- Anyone know, do we have a "master list" of NYE cruisers? Maybe with their cabin numbers?? It would be nice to know exactly who is going and where they will be on the ship..
Also, is anyone planning on bringing a Fish Extender on the cruise? I had a friend make one, mainly for the Double Dip cruise next Sept.. but i am thinking if enough of us were bringing one, we could do a little card/gift swap.. I would organize it , just let me know if there is intrest..

I will be back later and post the pic of the one i have.. gotta go to photobucket and get it.. BRB.

I will be happy to maintain a master list which I am already doing for our WB Panama Canal cruise if people will pm me details. I will work with you to coordinate "teams" if people are going to do fish extenders!!

As for the FE thing, It's more or less a "free for all", not really set up as teams.. I am just listing those who would be hanging out the FE, and then it's up to each person to give a gift to whoever they choose. KWIM?
For instance, on my sept. 2008 cruise, there are about 12 of us so far that are bringing FE's. So, i am planning on bringing a lil' something for each person. I will try to find the thread about FE's and what people put in them for gifts, it's nothing big.. and i will post the link.

With the Walt, I think we can swing 15 persons in the private room. Each couple or person would then pay their own bill and tip.

I have a list of people interested so far so let me know if there are any more over 18's interested.

Way too many posts to read ;0 but just wanted to let folks know that another couple of DISers will be on that cruise as well...myself and DH, with my DSIL and DBIL as well as their two kids age 8 and 10....

Looking forward to it...I hear there are some 'surprises' on the New Year's cruises, can't wait to find out what they are

Welcome aboard Inga!! We have three GK's who are coming with their parents and us on this cruise. Aspen (GD) who will be 13, Bailey (GD) who will be 10 and Spencer (GS) who will be 8.

We're probably doing the trolley tour, too. We're very excited about Key West, since we've never been there either.

Since we have been to Key West before, we are renting an electric car for touring and visting the museums etc.

Caitsmama - when we did our 3 night cruise last June one of our fellow cruises did a cool chart with names, ages, where people were from and even when they were doing Palo and what shore excursions on Nassau - I am not that computer literate! Sorry. But it was nice. We also all met on the top deck with bubbles at the sailaway for a meet and greet!

I put my ticker for this date, b/c we are flying in on the 28th, and staying at the airport hyatt.. so technically, i am counting that as the start of my vacation.. LOL
