Just doing my daily bump back to the main page. Samantha now officially has three part time jobs which will leave her plenty of time for studying for the LSAT!!

Just doing my daily bump back to the first page. I realized that right now in just five weeks, I will be a little than two hours into my flight from SFO to MCO on my way to WDW. December 20 is also my birthday so makes it even more sweet!!

What a great birthday present. My birthday is the beginning of Dec, but I will have the cruise to look forward to.

Disney this weekend was fun! Crowds weren't too bad - weather was great. Got us in the mood for the cruise.

I think so too!! We have a bunch of birthdays from November 13-December 29. My younger sister's is December 4!!

Glad to hear you had a good time at Disney!! Can't wait for our trip either!!

Boy that would sure hit the spot about now!! I love eating at Ohana's. The lagoon view rooms are just fabulous. Since Walt Disney had a hand in planning this resort, I always feel it is part of the real "Disney" magic.

Well, that is great to hear! At this time tomorrow am, i will be sitting at the airpt.
I'm not bringing my laptop, so i won't have internet access for the next 9 days!!!! *gulp*..
Although, i thought about bringing it just to try to watch a dvd or something... but my laptop's battery life stinks.. i only get just over an hr. fully charged..

I bet you are excited!! I wish we were going somewhere warmer for Thanksgiving. DD's BF will be with us for Thanksgiving as her birthday is on Sunday November 25. Hard to believe she is turning 22!! We still occasionally tease her and call her Baby Sam!!

Boy do I know the low battery problem. My Sony Vaio has a short battery life also so I always have to find a place to plug in power. I always bring the notebook computer anyway and an extension cord for power!!

If you don't sign on tomorrow before you leave, have an absolutely fabulous magical vacation!!

One quick note. I know some people expressed interest in doing a brunch in the private room on Thursday, January 3, 2008. I do have a ressie but we need to have about 12 persons or we can not have the private room.

If anyone is still interested, please pm again with your full name and stateroom number. If we get 12 persons, we can have the private room.

I am organizing our Thanksgiving dinner. Here is our menu:

Hot artichoke and cheese dip
Salmon with cream cheese on brown bread
Spinach dip in french bread round
Vegetable crudités with low fat blue cheese dip
Cranberry, walnut and feta cheese salad with homemade balsamic/honey/oil dressing
Pumpkin squash soup savory with a hint of curry and cream
Roasted turkey about 20 lbs.
Asiago Cheese french bread round sliced thinly
Green bean almandine with caramelized shallots and butter
Sweet potato puree sweetened with nutmeg & cinnamon, candied walnuts and maple syrup
Roasted butternut squash
Whipped traditional potatoes with butter & cream and a touch of horseradish
Cranberry sauce with a hint of orange
Traditional stuffing with mushrooms celery onions and water chestnuts
Cornbread stuffing With dried cranberries and apricots
Cream rich porcini mushroom gravy
Onion sage gravy with sweet caramelized onions and fresh sage
Pumpkin, apple or peach pie with vanilla ice cream

Mmmmm!! That sounds good! Can't wait till Thursday myself. But usually I'm too tense to really enjoy the meal the first time around. I have 23 coming at last count. The more the merrier I always say.

But when it comes about 6 or 7pm I really enjoy leftovers in front of the fireplace, if the weather allows.

Hey, I was wondering if any of you would like lanyards that say Disney NYE Cruise 2007? I have several companies that make these for my customers and if you want I can get us some. If so, what color of lanyard? and what color of print do you perfer? Also, if anyone else wants T-shirts just pm your sizes and address to ship them to. I should be shipping everyone's T's who has contacted me the week after Thanksgiving. Because we here in KY. we take our High School Football seriuosly, our team has make it to the 3rd round of playoffs and our little town will close down on Wed. have Thanksgiving on Thurs. and travel down state to Lexington for Friday Night Lights, then finish the weekend with the last University of Kentucky home game against all time rival Tennessee. So needless to say I won't be doing any sewing this weekend. Hope everyone has a safe and blessed Thanksgiving.

DS15 was in a play this past weekend -- Romeo and Juliet where he played the part of the prince -- he liked being the authority person and being able to yell at the crowd.

What a fun Thanksgiving week you have planned!! All quiet here except for lots of cooking!! Not sure about the lanyards but sounds fun!! With our green shirts, I would think maybe red with blue writing like this DIS board colors??? Maybe someone else will weigh in about colors etc.

The school my DD attended during HS did not have a football team so can't relate to the rivalry but can on the college level.

Hope your team wins the game!! Nephew Erik who will be graduating December 15 from Colorado is playing in his last college home again against Wyoming. His parents will be traveling on Thanksgiving to get there for the game so we have lost another 5 for Thanksgiving. This is the smallest group at our house ever since I started doing Thanksgiving many moon ago.
