12/29/07 Western - New Year's Eve

ok -- i might have to skip the brunch, i think dh wants to do that together ( about as much as a date as we have had in about 10 years.. LOL) ;)

You are gonna have so much fun at the MVMCP!! We did that last year, ( we are missing it by 1 day this year!! :( ) and it was so nice!Really got you into the festive mood! And you don't get much more magical than show falling on Main St. USA!!

I am sure you will have a fabulous time together at the brunch.

I may organize a party in the Walt if I don't get the brunch ressies so I will keep you guys posted. Our concierge hostess sent us a special menu for private parties.

Plus, we can get Palo meals in the suite!!

I have only heard from two families that they are still interested in the private Palo brunch. Any more??? We need to have up to 14 or it doesn't make sense to do a private brunch as they probably won't let us have the private room.

All our shore excursions, Palo ressies and spa ressies are made!! Wahooooo!!!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I have only heard from two fellow DISers about having a private room brunch at Palo's on New Years Eve. We need at least 14 persons to get the private room.

If anyone else is still interested, please pm me with your full names and stateroom number.

If we don't get the magic 14 number, I will not be able to have my TA fax in a request.

This doesn't mean you should not make your own Palo ressies as I will not know for sure if we get this private room until 30 days or less before the cruise.

The way the private Palo brunch works is that every one gets their own bills and can tip accordingly.

I'm with you, Wiscbill. Saturday will be a late night here in Ga, too! But, it's all worth it!:woohoo:

Have fun booking guys!! I am assuming you are all CC members? My paper says i can book on Oct.15th.. Just hoping there are some brunch spots still left.. ;)

So, for you vetrens, does that mean at 12 midnight, on Oct. 15th, i can book?

Yes, we're CC members, but I 've never done this before. I hope it all works out the way it's supposed to! From what I've read on these boards, it has been 12 midnight (ET) when you can start booking...

I'll let you know!
:goodvibes

Yes, it used to be 3 AM which corresponded to midnight West Coast time, but they changed it about 6 months ago.

Brunch and dinner reservations are usually still available 75 days out, but the tea is usually fully booked by then. You can always make reservations on-board once you get there. They really do keep about half the spots open for on-board booking.

Nope.. not going for tea. Not my thing.. LOL ;)

What about the tea with Wendy for the kids.. do you sign up for that ahead of time?

Tickets for Tea with Wendy (which is sometimes Tea with Alice depending on which character is on-board) are only available on-board. You go to the Guest Services desk and ask for them (that's the desk that is on the port (left hand) side). It's usually held on the at-sea days, but the one on Thursday conflicts with the practice for the Graduation Ceremony later in the afternoon, so try and do it right as you board.

Concierge guests get to book 105 days out, CC get to book 90 days out and new cruisers 75 days out.

Here is a WDW planning calendar link to help with planning in the future.

I agree that they hold back ressies for non computer users so don't panic if they are not available you may be able to get them in Diversions once you get on board.

DH and I actually loved the food at the high tea. Tea with Alice or Wendy I believe is only now available on the 3 or 4 night cruises on the Wonder according to my concierge rep. However, You might want to call DCL at 1-800-951-352 to check.
