I'm really excited. I went ahead and paid off my balance yesterday! A couple more weeks and we'll be booking things already!

Hey all! Cool only 100 days! Well by the time we sail I will be retired! My employer has offered a 20 and out, with no age requirement and health care so I should be gone by 10/1! So I'll have plenty of time to get FE gifts and the list in order before we all sail! And maybe I'll actually pack well this time!

Some one asked how to handle room upgrades and changes for the FE exchange. You all could contact me and I could post them on my door. I'll have to look for my exact cabin number, but I have a cat 11 so I doubt I'll be upgraded. It's on deck 6 forward. I'll post the cabin # when I get a chance.

We decided not to book the FL rate for the cat 7...just too much risk ($$$) if something were to happen and step-DD couldn't go. We may upgrade later but for now we're holding our cat 12's. Just glad to be on the ship!

Tina, congratulations on your retirement! Wow! What a celebration cruise for you for sure!!!

Your idea for posting the updated FE info sounds good...that may help everyone out since there may be some who might not be able to meet up at the terminal or shortly after boarding.

I am so darn excited I cannot stand it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and neither can the rest of my family, by the way )

Not sure what will happen on board in addition to the decorations, though I have heard past cruisers say that Mrs. Claus reads to the children, Santa makes an appearance on Christmas morning, and it snows on Castaway Cay.

Congratulations on getting everything you wanted at WDW! You are going to have such a wonderful holiday with both WDW and DCL - wow!

It does seem like it's going to be a long time till we reach this trip. But what I have found is that the time drags until you have about 6 weeks left and then it just flies by b/c there is so much to do to get ready. Couple that with the holidays, and I feel that once Halloween is upon us, we will be feeling like the cruise is just around the corner!

How cruel is it that part of why I'm so excited is that it means my mom won't be bugging me about wedding planning stuff anymore?

ETA: This may sound strange, but do we also want to make mention whether we don't want Christmas related stuff? My fiance and I are Jewish. I don't know whether he won't care, but we definitely will have no use for ornaments or such!

I am new to these DIS Boards. My daughter orginally was coming but now can not sail. Instead it will be just me and grandpa sailing alone for the first time. A couple of kids ourselves wants to participate in the FE. I have been planning all year for this! We are in stateroom 2568 Mark and Barbara. You will notice us by the older looking couple acting like a couple of teenagers. I am sad that it will no longer be a girl's cruise however there is always next year! Disney rocks! Can someone please post details on how this FE works and how I get a print out of who I am sharing with. Look forward to hearing from you soon!

Good for your that you and your DH are still young at heart. I hope I'm always that way, too! Sometimes I think people tend to take themselves too seriously, which is why I love the "escape" of anything Disney!!!

According to our DD's "All About Me" book she wrote for her "back to school night" last night, it's blue. Of course, I believe 90% of her wardrobe is pink, so that was news to me!
