Just received the latest All Ears newsletter, and there is an article about MVMCP not being sold out. It says that you can buy tickets for the party through Ticketmaster, and though they're about $4 more than buying them directly from Disney, they're definitely cheaper than buying them on E-Bay. I personally checked it out, and it worked all the way through (we're going on 12/14, but wanted to test out the system anyway). If you're looking for 12/17 tickets, and I know some of you out there are by reading the recent forums, you may want to check this out. The link is below...

I also read that in the newsletter and had to check it out! I went to ticketmaster and it looks like they do have tickets for the 17th. I was so glad to find this out since I was short 1 childs ticket.

I was getting desperate!! But not desperate enough to buy from those scalpers on Ebay!! $300 a piece! Where is their Christmas Spirit.

I am thrilled!!!! You have kept our family together! LOL Im serious. DH was not originally planned to be with us on this trip so I ordered tickets for myself and 2 Ds's back in June. Now it looks like he can go. This will be our first trip during the Holidays and Dh would not have been able to join us for MVMCP since it was "sold out", or I was going to sell our tickets so we could experience it together another year. I was struggling with that, because they are at such perfect ages (5 and 7) but how do you explain that Daddy is going to WDW with us but not to the party!

Now I dont have to and we can enjoy the party together :cheer2:

Note to self: Sign up for AllEars newsletter! LOL

Prayers and Pixie Dust and Thank you for posting!

Glad that people that need those tickets are finding them somewhere else besides Ebay. But doesn't it make you mad that you are now forced to pay TicketMaster a fee. Why isn't Disney selling these tickets themselves? Plus look at the charge you have to pay to get these tickets mailed to you. The cheapest is $14.50. Yes, standard mailing is free but what is they don't make it in time. At least buying them through Disney you can pick them up from Guest Services for free.

I just hope this is not the way Disney is going to start selling all tickets.

I always pick up my Disney tickets at the guest services will call, but my experience with Ticketmaster has been usually 7-10 days with standard mail.

I think ticketmaster buys a block of tickets and they can then resell them for whatever they want- so they technically are sold out if you want to buy them directly thru Disney. Same as a hotel could be totally booked through Disney, but maybe you could still find a room on expedia or something. -Steph

You could also go to a ticketmaster outlet to avoid the mailing fee. Still have to pay the service charge though.

Thanks to their outrageous "convenience charges", I ususally refer to Ticketmaster as Ticketsomething-that-almost-rhymes-with-master-but-cannot-be-typed-on-a-family-web-site.

oh :( doesnt help me! dont deliver to the UK- doesnt look like we're going! thank you anyway :wizard:

Why not have them shipped to your resort?
