hey all. garry, there are lots of hotels in the area. Pick one and i can tell you how close it is to me. The park closes at 5 this time of year, so we won't be able to go, unless you go by yourself. WORK is such a dirty word! I have to go in tomorrow to get things squared away for while I'm gone.
I'm going to my Mom and Dad's in Omaha on Thursday and will be back on Tuesday night. My brother is being ordained on Sunday, and my presence was requested.

Well, come on, then! I "stole" the design from Mark and Mary. I think our t-shirts will look like that, too....only with each port name written on the ice cream.

Won four out of five football bets, and no I didn't place my money on the Chargers. (This weekend) Won two NFL tanktops. Those should work out fine for the cruise. DH is a humbled man.

Surprised to see this thread so soon. My DH and I are just home from the Aug Repo cruise and booked this one onboard. I'm trying to decide if we really want to do this one. I love the idea of 10 days, but not too sure about the ports. I've been to St Thomas and St Maarten Magic Jan 05, but my DH didn't make that trip. He is not really a beach person (I am). Any ideas of things to do on Antigua and St Lucia. I didn't see any DCL excursions posted yet. Love to hear from anyone who has been to these Islands. Also, it looks like some of you have been on Holiday cruises. Please let me know how wonderful it is. We would be doing this one alone without the grandchildren. I think I need to really be convinced at this time. Thanks for any info you can share.

Sorry I don't remember what excursions were available. I love the beach and that is where we went. Our friends did an island tour on Antigua and loved it. The mountains of St Lucia were beautiful. I love the longer cruises and really enjoy DCL so even though the itinerary is the same I am going. I think the ship was maxed out on children but it was not a problem. Music, decorations, holiday Magic, can't wait!

Thats my site for this cruise. I can add you. You just need to give me your info Hgomes. The navigators are under the onboard section i think. They are scans, so they are only single pages. Working on a script that would allow you to flip through them like a book, but scripting isn't easy. lol. Just let me know. I can give you lots of info.

hgomes, welcome! I haven't sailed on the holidays befpre and the only port on this cruise we have been to is Key West which, so far, is my favorite of the ports DCL cruises to. DH and I aren't beach people either but I believe there are lots of non-beach excursions. Jen has a website that has all the navigators from last year's holiday 10 day and they list the excursions. Looks like a LOT of fun!
