12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise

A police officer attempts to stop a car for speeding and the guy gradually increases his speed until he's topping 100 mph. He eventually realizes he can't escape and finally pulls over. The cop approaches the car and says, "It's been a long day and my tour is almost over, so if you can give me a good excuse for your behaviour, I'll let you go." The guy thinks for a few seconds and then says, "My wife ran off with a cop about a week ago. I thought you were trying to give her back."

Garry, i went to ride boo tonight. She ran flat out at a full run for an entire mile! man was she wound up. lol.

It only took us 15 minutes to get from the farm to the interstate. Liz was shocked how quickly we got to her house from there. I bet that was a really lllooonnngg day for you, gaRry.

Morning all :wave2:

gaRry, it is still waaaaay too long for me, over 450 days yet! I want to start packing and making plans now. Oh well, maybe a year from now I can be to that point. It feels like slow torture, though.

I feel awful this morning, feverish, aching, upset stomach. bleah... Oh well, time to get the kid moving. they have ISTEP tests this week so she has to have a good breakfast and be ready to do when the bus gets here.

Morning - I hope you are feeling better, Kat. I would like some advise please. My DM, sister and 4 friends are cruising Magic in January. I have never had dinner in Palos cause I enjoy the dining rotation so much. Do any of you want to talk me into Palos? What night should we go? Of the 7 of us only 2 have had dinner in Palos.

We had such thick fog yesterday they had 2 hour school delays just about everywhere, including our schools. Fortunately my SIL didn't work so dd went across the street and SIL got the girls on the bus.

Hope everyone is well and Rita isn't threatening any of you. I talked to a client yesterday who was going to close up shop and evacuate after the end of the workday. They are just south of Houston and everyone there is being evacuated. Glad that isn't me.

I saw the cutest Tinkerbell stocking at Target the other day! She is my favorite! I want to find some cute Disney stockings for everyone to bring on the cruise next year so I may have to get that one and put it away for me.

ah well, at least it is thursday....

visited 2 very nice schools today. Thinkin i like chapman better than pitzer. Its a sweet school with the law school only 3 blocks away. 15 minutes from horse country and 10 from Disney land. sounds good to me. oh! and only 2 from the closest Target. Gotta love that. haha. see ya all.
