i will post my weekend work schedule after 9:15 pm EST. thats when i will get home from work. I will know when i work on both the 17th and 18th. If that works out, i won't take off the weekend in october, and instead take the ACTs that weekend. lol. take care all. off to orchestra.

no i play the viola. I take orchestra in school. Its alright. Not a bunch of fun like cruisng, and we NEVER go anywhere like the band does, but its alright. Well on the 17th is work 8:00am to 4:30 pm. We could always do a lunch. However, on sunday i work 10:00 am - 6:30 pm. not a convienant shift. So let me know if you are still coming out. I will make plans, if not, let me know so i can take off in october.

Indeed, congrats on the house sale! Not much going on here this weekend. DH is working today so I am home alone with the 9 year old. I have been the evil mommy , making her pick up the mess in the living room, turn off the tv when she isn't watching it, etc.

Now dinner is in the oven. Hopefully dh will be home soon. Mom and SIL's BF will be over for dinner soon. SIL is working this weekend too. Better them than me, that's all I can say!

Kira is in big girls now.
I know I know (sigh) my baby. Wait I have to choke back a tear...

WooHoo that's an extra $50/ month.

Gotta go slay the clothes monster. Nithing else new here except the girls are starting gymnastics next week.

hey gaRry,

bring the beer.

I was thinking about that, well I always think about beer, but this cruise we should have a beer party instead of a wine tasting. Local brew pubs. Could be fun.

Tomorrow is the first Sunday of NFL. OH GLEE and I have to transplant an apple tree. any pointers anybody? Fuji apple doesnt't like where I planted it so it will go between the peach and plum trees that yes to my amazement have doubled in size since I planted them this spring.

Off to check the taters and ribs. and to get a drink. CHEERS!-D

Had to laugh, Denise, about the 'big' girl. Congrats. I am looking forward to my NFL Sunday Ticket.


Sad call from my niece, freshman in college. Lots of drinking on campus. Sarah knows what can happen to teens who drink and, so far, can resist the peer pressure. She is on the basketball team and hopefully practice 6 days a week will keep her busy.

Good Morning! Things have been more than a little busy around here.... KIDS have a way of keeping you from the fun things like POSTING! Just kidding.

Yea, Kira!! Around here that took forever....I swear my kids were THE laziest things!

Sue....isn't it nice to know that there are still some young adults smart enough to know better? Good for Sarah! My nephew is a Freshman at Creighton University in Omaha, and thankfully, he's one of the smart ones, too.

I'm going to my parents' next week....Omaha...just me, no kids. First time alone since school got out. Wheee. But I will be spending time with all the nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews!! I can't wait to see how much the newest one has grown. I was there when she first came home from the hospital in January......and now she's crawling already! I wish they lived closer!
I'm going to go through my closet today, my 13 yr old niece wants all the shoes that I don't wear any more. I'll have to box them up and mail them....there are waaaaay too many!
