:cool1:

hi staCy, hi caRy. Well hi everybody who is reading this. I had a delay this morning from school. Had some bad weather over the night. Got a decent amount of snow. lol. :cold: welll i think my bus is here so talk to you all later.

Hi all. Schools are closed again today. My sister is coming over with Nick and Emmy for the day. I didn't have that much more snow but since they live in the city the kids don't get to play as much. I have a steep driveway so maybe they can get some sledding in.

Hi all ye sailors, pirate:

Argh be der the sun she be a shinin' :cool1: And Friday to boot. 2 Buck Chuck here I come.

Welcome Home Stacey.

Lynda I don't get to go on another cruise until this one. So far away. Hey isn't that a song?

Gotta go get the kids towels for the mud puddle bath they are having.

Friday night chat people. I'll try to remember to be there with wine on.

ciao, D :wave2:

Well, I just sat on the cat so I guess I'm due for bedtime...
Nitey night, all...

I am still getting the 'glare' from my cat, Magic. I was carrying laundry down the hall and didn't see her. I know I kicked her :guilty: at least three times as I was trying to get my balance.

Hey there, hi there, ho there!

Absolutely nothing interesting going on around here......same old stuff. Work, laundry, kids......
But the weather has cleared up and is gorgeous. Sunny, few clouds.....who can complain? Not me.
Well, it's not a cruise, I guess I could complain about that. But no one would listen.

Denise, the good news is that girls grow out of the mud puddle stage. Jared has been in the creek every day since the water went below "danger" level. I hate wet, sandy socks almost more than anything.
Speaking of wet socks, back to the laundry I go.
TTFN,
Stacey

Sounds like you need to get a cat... Nothin' like furry football.... or kitty cushion...

I heard about your poor kitty. Did she say "Whoopee" when you sat on her?
I had a kitty for almost 14 years. I'm not ready for another one just yet.
Was that Sue that drop-kicked her kitty?? You guys are mean. I may call Kitty Protective Services!;)

Well, I spoke too soon. It's raining again. :umbrella: Nothing too bad so far. Oh to be on a verandah with the sun shining on me!

Does anyone know anything about those new video cameras? I know that there are some that record right onto a DVD...they are pretty expensive. What's the difference between those and the Mini-DV recorders? Been thinking of getting a new video camera. The one I have now uses the little mini tapes.

No, she gave me that same kitty-evil glare that Sue's gave her....YESSS! Verandahs rule!

We went to dinner tonight at one of our favorite restaurants...Cruisers...(no kidding) and the owner, Tony, has puppies for sale. Purebred Border Collies, 3 males, 1 female. It's probably a good thing that the pups weren't there. I have a feeling I might have done something rash.
I have to keep telling myself..."No more pets!"

Getting close to that time.....should I?? Maybe I should wait for Lynda....

pirate: Awww, what the heck!

T.O.P. of page 50!!

Sad that it takes so little to entertain me.........

You do NOT want a purebred border collie as. a pet...if you don't mind me saying... :goodvibes

Tell me more......I thought they were smart dogs.....

They are VERY smart little doggies but will drive you crazy with their need to be working. They are not suitable as pets because their orientation is on THE JOB and not the owner or any person. They do not really bond or express affection and they are in almost psychotic need of action, work, running, spinning, digging, chewing...anything to be BUSY... They are great hearing alert dogs...as well as the typical farm/sheep working dogs. I have a border collie/lab mix and she is a regular civil engineer. She is not crazy and I dismissed the border collie as unsuitable as pet rule until a neighbor brought home a purebred BC puppy and I saw a PBS special on border collies in training...WHEW! Made my little Penny look half dead..ENERGY!!!

I see you with a nice Australian Shepherd from a stable bloodline (some Aussies can be nervous, skittish or fearful...not common but a bummer if you happen to get one). They are really nice, loyal, affectionate and smart.

Jay's dog, that I fell in love with before I fell in love with him, was an Australian Shepherd. She was the most wonderful dog in the world. I guess I didn't think there was much difference between the Aussies and the Border Collies.......I figured they needed to work. I am still saying "No pets" ...but maybe a little tiny little Yorkie? Then I would probably sit on it, like the poor kitty!:earseek:
