wow, i still have like the smallest post count of this bunch. oh well. I don't have any joke yet today. Haven't had time to check my joke line (my third email account). will post later. Well, first period is about to start so i better go. bye all!

Mornin' campers,

Good ones jEn.

Did anyone see the (xmas) commercial where the guy is walking aound with a model cruise ship wrapped up? I looked at Paul and said "hey thats the WRONG ship". Carnival. Cute commercial though. I am proud of myself for being able to recognize the shape of the ship as a non-Magic/Wonder.

So Paul is watching a video of kids skateboarding and all of a sudden they pan over to a guy in a convertable sportscar who is revving his engine at a little old lady crossing the street. He's honking and revving and when the little angel gets in front of his car she hits the front bumper with her bag. Yep deployed the air bag. :rotfl: Oh my I was dying! The kids that were running the video were cracking up too. Needless to say that guy got his lesson in humility and patience. :rotfl:

Wlak to work day again. Have a great one.
D

Yep, looks like you got it gaRry. Lucky you!

Yes, I saw that commercial last night. I was thinking that was definitely the wrong cruise line. I'd love it if someone gave me a Disney cruise for Christmas. Heck, I'd love it if someone would pay for my Disney Cruise NEXT Christmas!!! It is going to be tight next year, that is for sure. DH asked me the other night if we were going to be ok next year with the 10 day and our trip to Hawaii. I think we will be fine as long as we don't do anything crazy next year (no boats like he did this year). And we really aren't going to do Christmas gifts for each other next year either. Even Samantha gets to deal with the fact that the cruise will be most of our Christmas gift to her next year. Santa will bring something small while we are on the cruise, but we aren't lugging lots of gifts either way and won't be able to afford much else.

I just got one of those Disney Visa cards so I plan on saving up the stuff from that and applying it to our onboard account and am hoping that will help with those costs. We got the $200 onboard credit when we booked our cruise so every little bit will help, especially as I suspect we can go through that just with cognac for DH and cappucino for me over the course of 10 days! Plus we will want to do some excursions too. Don't you love the hidden costs of cruising??? Wish I was psychic and knew what the winning powerball numbers would be this week!

Oh well.... now to work on getting our house better able to handle the cold winter that is coming. We are going to put more insulation in the attic this weekend and are looking at getting a woodburning insert with blowers for our fireplace this weekend to help with that. We have plenty of firewood after last winter's ice storm brought down so many trees so we might as well get some good use out of that!

gaRry

gaRry,

Being the only Male in this bunch of fun-loving (hot) females is not such a bad thing, ya know.

I would love to stay 'till the 18th, but had to do some finessing and slight manipulation to pull off this solo weekend trip...... "Honey, you know what I would really like for my birthday this year".....he is such a marshmellow. For a 17 day trip I would have to throw in Anniversary, Birthday, Christmas for the next three years. And even then, not sure he would go for it. But Thanks for the offer for a lift to the airport. Have Fun!!!!

I'M MELTING, I'M MELTING (doing my best WW of the West impression). It has now rained (pretty hard most days) for eight strait days in a row. Looks like we may see the sun on Sunday. They cancelled Soccer for the 4th strait session. The coach says in his message, "See you someday, maybe". :rotfl2:

Hi all,

Haven't been around for awhile because of moving and busy at work but had a few down moments so thought I'd share. We were having a busy day and didn't know what to have for dinner and my DS looked at me and said, "I wish we could just get a All Hands On Deck Platter." I looked at him and said so do I.

GOOD MORNIN ALL

No gaRry, you aren't the only one here and we didn't all go to W D W. I wish I could, though :sad1:

I was home with Mom all day so didn't get to be on the computer much. Now I can so here I am.

Cold here, brrrrr :cold: :cold: :cold: I know, it is relative, but I am always colder than everyone around me so I sit here in a sweater freezing....

Time for bed I think,

Night all

Hi everybody,

Paul and Sierra went on their campout at the beach this weekend. Got a nice storm last night around 3 am. So they are home and Paul is passed out in front of football. I'll let him nap for a while and then it is off to the pumpkin patch. We are actually having fall weather today. Some rain and clouds and cool for us. I am in heaven.

Kira was looting in my bags today and came downstairs with some papers. It was a pass to Megans Bay beach and a used up card from the arcade on ship. Ahh the memories. Its fun to stash stuff and come across it unexpedely.

Our big airshow is this weekend and yep we are in the flight path. Blue Angels and all sorts of cool aircraft flying overhead.

Have a great Sunday all. Welcome back Pooh Lover. Hi everybody else!

Lynda...you out there too? :p

Mmmmmmmmmmm, PIZZA.

For the rest of my life, I don't think anyone can ever say Megan's Bay to me again without me thinking of PIZZA!!!!!!

OH, OH, I just hit a personal milestone..............

POST 500 on the DIS :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

We had a quiet weekend, not much at all happened. This morning Samantha is isn't feeling good, though. Sore throat, stomachache and mild body aches. No fever, though. The sore throat and stomach seem to be the worst things. Poor kids. She is wrapped up in her soft blanket and trying to sleep. I expect she won't be going to school which means I will likely be staying home today. As long as she isn't sick again and I don't get sick enough to stay home until january we should be ok as I only have one sick day left! Crazy to only give 6 sick days a year.

Memories, indeed. I was washing dishes and Sam got one of those coconuts they put drinks in at Castaway Cay last June and I was washing that. Then I put a Castaway Cay towel through the laundry too. Talk about memories, wow! Wish I was there, that's for sure.

I went to take the trash out this morning and there was a lovely fullish moon looking down at me. Beautiful!
