Hi gaRy,
How are you feeling?
You know I really wanted to go have some coffee with you on the trip. Do they have an expresso bar I missed? Can we pop into Palo for coffee? Sit at the bar? Order a dessert and legal stimulants?

You know I realized when I got home that I forgot to go look for the secret deck on deck 8. Anybody enjoy it?

Hey Stacey- I love the ornament from the gift exchange. It hangs in my kitchen window. Who knows what happens when you get the unexpected. Thanks for the cool mission ornament. We should plan to do the ornament exchange again.

Can we include beer in the wine party next time? Good breweries around here. Not that I would know.

Sweet dreams everyone. Dream of the Mickey boat as Sierra calls it.

I would love to help you pick up your 2 year old gaRry. It would be an honor. my little 2 year old got her papers just the other day. she is now a registered paint horse, named Sweet To Be Me outta Sweet Dreamin Thing by Dream For Gold. Pretty good blood lines she has. Half decent anyway. But her conframation (sp?) is awesome. Nice long stride. Don't know if thats something you look at gaRry. Arabians are different than rodeo horses. lol. Yeah i still hope we can go in 2008. but who knows what will happen. My mom's business is kinda in the pitts with the price of malpractice in PA. not to good. all the docs are leaving the state. anyway, off that depressing subject, i must return to my stack of school work. This is me and my school work... :badpc: i cruch it b/c i hate it! lol. ttyl.

Hi Kara and Denise, again.

Hope Cary and gaRry post soon to see everyone joining in.

I'm back! :earsboy: The thread is surely getting bigger. Joining in, thats me. I can't stay away. Looking forward to linking our dinner seatings as soon as we can. Probably can't do that until we all pay off our cruises.

Hi all! Good to see so many familiar names for this cruise! Yes, we too got sucked into the fun on the 2004 10-day holiday cruise and rebooked while on board. We're going again for Christmas 2006! Just wanted to drop in to say hello.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming...

Ooooh! A TOP for my first post!

Big Welcome!!! You didn't happen to get the 10% discount for booking on board? I've heard some say they did and others say nope????

Jen, Sounds like you have a wonderful family that all care for each other. I know your dad loved you very much to do all that he did for you. Thanks for sharing your story.

My dauther had the same type "titanic" experience. Only she would not get in the small boats at the GF that take you to the MK. She cried and mentioned the titanic and would not get on the boat. After waiting, about the third boat, we got her in and she was just fine.

Good idea! I'm all for the part about including beer. And I'm serious too. :cool1:

Hey Denise! I didn't remember that you were here! Duh...and I am blonde.
Glad you like the ornament....it jumped at me! And I like that it doesn't have to be out just for Christmas. Yippee on "movin' up"...you'll fall in love with the verandah!

Our room was right next to Deck 8's small aft area...the door to it was locked almost all the time. The one time it was open some children, who shall remain anonymous, climbed from there over to my verandah. Not dangerous, the only place they were going to land was the Deck 7 public area. What's neat about Deck 7's area, is that sometimes the clubs take the little ones out there and read to them, and they sang Christmas carols. I loved it!!

Cary

its good to know i was not alone. Yeah i had to be drug across the gang plank, had to go to the kids club to express my fears, and made my family arive 15 minutes early to the mandatory drill. I was in a major state of paranoia until the first show. Then Gary Delena laughed away all my fears. At least I think it was him. I don't really remember. I have Long and Short term mememory loss. pretty pitiful for a girl who takes lots of A.P. classes. :teeth:

And a TOP for me!

Today is my day with Nick and Emmy, :sunny: .

I really like my Tuesdays, everyone have a good day.

Good question - The person doing the booking was saying that the 10% wasn't available for the 10 day, only the 7 day cruises, so I didn't even bother asking about it. We booked another Cat. 8. Worked well for the last 10-day, though we have a verandah for the panama canal...just can't resist having my own reserved deck space for that one... :rotfl:

Anyhoo...Glad to see garRy, Denise, Sue, Stacey, Cary (is this feeling a little like Romper Room to anyone else?) on this cruise too!

Cary, you can link ressies for dinner any time. All you need is everyone's confirmation # that you want to link to. DH and I are linking with most of our table mates from the last 10-day who we became great friends with. My TA said all she needs is their confirm #s, so no need to wait for payment in full!

Good morning Mousekesailors!!

What a beautiful day we have here today. The rains were awesome. Our local lake that was at 30% is now at 70% :cheer2: :cheer2: Good bass fishing is in our future as the lake was becoming a forest and now all those trees are perfect for dem fishies.

We are still rinsing sand out of dd5's ear. The doctor showed me...all you could see is Magens Bay.

Dh and I are excited about the fact that dd2 will be 4 when we cruise again. Oceaneers club here she comes. :jumping4:

Off to the school bus. Everybody have a great day.
Denise

BTW Hi Kara. Have a good one.
Hey if we do have a beer tasting this time all we'll need is pretzels. :teeth:

I think I might go with "Bambi" or maybe "Bubbles"...what do ya think???

BUNNY? That is NOT the Mary Ann I ate dinner with......
The whole table rebooked? Yayyyy!
Which repo cruise is Jerri waiting for?

Oh, Delswife is not going to have me thrown in the slammer for copyright infringement I think.....She PMed me and didn't sound too displeased (LYMI) that I was passing around a copy of her oevre.
:cool1:

When I complained to DCL about the terrible sail dates for this cruise they suggested a solution...and I took it...

I hope everybody had a good day. Mine was pretty uneventful. And what am I missing with this whole bunny thing?

Lynda its not Bunny but Bubbles.
Yes we too rebooked as well as Richard and Allison(our friends from England).
I can't remember our cabin # but it is just in front of the character stage on deck 9. Obviuosly on deck 8 though. Much better than the deck 2 cat 10. I think I'll be in love.
We walked into our friends cabin that was a cat 4 and I instantly saw the need for the verandah. If not for anything but the natural light and the fresh air.
Well its French onion soup night so I'm off to get the beef broth.
I hope everyone had a great day.
Denise

Oh Jen, Marigioux has a running joke with her DH and the latest chapter is new names. Single names like Bunny, Bubbles, Bambi, etc. ;)
