Hey Sandra . How are ya. Glad to see you got a cabin on the WBRC. It was wild trying to book that morning, wasn't it??

Hi Mary Ann:

It sure was crazy trying to book that morning but we were so glad when we finally got a room even though it wasn't the category 3 we wanted. When we realized how crazy busy they were we were just so happy to have a room for that cruise. Now hopefully I can get time off work and our little girls can get time off school. Also, my husband is on the wait list for an operation in about a year's time so hopefully he is up to travelling. It should be very relaxing with all the days at sea. We leave for the med cruise in about 127 days. That should be cool too.

i listen to all your kid stories..and i am glad both of my kids are in the " giving me grandchildren " stage!! of my 2 girls my younest has a 7 year old, a 6 mnth old and sh is now 4 mnths pregnant..when there is any signs of diaper changing or crankyness..i can just give them back!! lol
well up early, still waiting for those cruise points..i a wondering if they ever will tell us...maybe they wll wait untill we are on the ship and then make the announcement

When is DN due?

I'm trying to clean between kids sporting events today. I host bunco on Thursday, and need to get things in shape. Of course, it will be trashed again before then, and Dave is out of town much of the week so I will be all week and not be able to keep up with it, but I figure if I start the week with it clean, I can get it back into shape more quickly? Maybe I can confine the mess to just a few rooms? Hey, I'm trying!

Hi everyone...hope your enjoying your 3 days off can't chat but wanted to let you know that my niece arrived here today....in good spirits and excepting her fate...lol...little the poor girl knows that I am menopausal...

So I will touch base on Tuesday cause will be busy over the next cou[ple of days...so till than have a blessed day and peace out!!!

Morning all!!!! DH at work, DD at school.....JUST ME!!!!! Hooray!!!!

I have been keeping an eye on airfares for August and this morning I can get tix for me and Sam for about $295!!!! One way tickets each way, down on NW and back on Delta. Cheaper than round trip on any one airline. That makes no sense but I'm good with it .

Robin, good luck with DN. Hope she learns by example from you and your great family!

MaryAnn and Joanie, there is a thread on the Community Board for the tagless. It is pretty funny.

(sigh..) Wish it had been just me today. No such luck, had all of mine and several spares. Then about 3:00 I became taxi . What I didn't know was that the day off gave coaches the opportunity not only to have set practices but to make more! We've been trying to figure out airfare for our trip to the midwest this Summer. It's driving us crazy because we are going several places and of course one airline doesn't work for that!

Hi Everyone-

Sorry to be such a stranger. My life has been crazy but then again who's isn't. My kids are off from school this week. I had today off due to the holiday. They are attending a half day Creative Memories Scrapbook Camp. My DD, 9 is doing her book on our Cruise. I've organized everything into gallon zip lock bags. We selected 229 pictures to get printed for this project. I didn't realize it was that many until I placed the order at Walgreens $46 later.

Anyways, I looking to see if anyone can help me out. We're missing the Navigator from Dec 24, 2006. Does anyone know where a copy is? Or perhaps some out there might have an extra. I'd be grateful. I must have 2 from everyother day but none from this day. It's driving me nuts.

I would also be grateful if some could email me a picture of the following if they have one:
1. Ornament Exchange
2. Wonder when it passed us that evening

Sorry too - to being a stranger. Busy. I really don't know how you all do it. We only have one son and feel like we are constantly running. From one sport to another and all the other things. Well I have been alittle apprehensive in checking in because I want to cruise again. But that will not be happening any time real soon.

My niece is here and my sister is driving me crazy and can't wait for her to leave!!! sorry to say but the older she gets the stupider she gets...or she was always that way and never paid attention to it before

I hate that she keeps telling me how to raise my kids...lol...and because they are boys that I need to make sure of this and make sure of that...like make sure that they do everything on there own that they do not turn into Momas boys...dont help them with there homework because they will always expect it...

She says dont tweeze my eybrows because after the 10th time of doing that that causes them to never grow back and after age 40 you don't have to go to the Dentist anymore because you no longer get cavities...I'm listening to her go on and thinking to myself...is she that ignorant

She will be gone on wednesday so life can carry on. Morgan has been fine and her and I get along good and I think that he and I will develope a great bond....as long as we can keep her mom away...

Last night my sister was talking to her other daughter that was at a party...my sister callled her back at Midnight and Cori(the other dausgter) had moved the party to there house....her dausgeter is up at 12:00 having a party and is alone in florida with no supervision and get this...she is 14 years old!!!! can you imagine...

Anyway I could go on but you get the idea....I will check back tomorrow to let you know how Morgans first day of school went.....

Hi everyone

Well today was my nieces first day at school and she was not a happy camper...but she made it trough and made a couple friends...

As for my sister...her house was robbed today and sure it was Morgans friends and that Morgan not thinking gave one of her so called friends the code to the alarm to get something out of the house....they stole about $8,000 worth of stuff...and they will get away with that as they do everything they do...

My sister leaves tomorrow night so hopefully things will get back to a little normalcy(sp)....

I am tiered and need to go to sleep it has been a very tiersom weekend and busy day with all this and PTA on top of it...

Hi Joanie...I think it's a function of too many kids! Sometimes I think about three too many! It would help if Dave stayed in town, but he's having a spell of out of town time. Today he's in Orlando....business trip, but I think they're going to Universal tonight. I'll be cleaning and cooking for bunco at my house tomorrow, after I finishing my service for the kids and their practices. Actually, I only have one tonight and it's raining so maybe I'll get lucky!

OK, shopping list done, time to hit the store(s)...I'm saving the liquor store for last...I probably should start there, but it's a little embarrassing to be there at 9:30 a.m....although it is the most important thing served at bunco!

Hi everyone this is a 3 popcorn story
Yay my sister is gone ...dont get me wrong I do love her but geesh...
She is got to be one of the most ignorant people I know....I am not the smartest but come on.

First of all she left my niece with a pack of cigeretts and told my niece that when they are gone(only a few left in the pack) that she cant have anymore...knowing farwell that I will not get her any. Being a reformed smoker I can smell the smoke a mile away.

Than my sister is telling me she cant use anything on her face but soap like ivory ...no MaryKay skin care...and no makeup like foundation and she does not like any chemicals at all cause it injures your body and causes cancers and such...okay thats fine but don't tell me this at the same time you are puffing away on a cigerette

Can someone tell me where the logic is in that O yes also no Deoderant either...Morgan did tell her mom that she was putting her ffot down on that one and wearing Deoderant anyway. Can you imagine a teenage girl who needs deoderant going to school without any on and smelling like stinky arm pits!!!! and she also buys all her fruits with pesticides and does not wash them and the cheepest meats she can find...lots of chemicals there...and lunch meats...gusee all those nitraits are okay...lol

My sister is only one and a half years older that me and she looks like she is 10 years older but she tells me that everyone tells her she looks like she's 35 ....my friends who met her thought she was about 55 or 60...she is very very wrinkled...she also talks about health yet she will not use any kind of sunscreen and lays in the sun and gets a full blown tan along with the girls ...they wear no sunscreen either..they use oil...

know also to further the confussion she is a parametic...you would think she would know better

I told her I buy all our fruits and vegtables and eggs and milk are organic and also top line of meats with as little junk in then she says...well be carefull of that stuff because there is no preservatives in then and stuff can grow....WHAT!!!!! Billie says why do I bother arguing with her...its a waist of time...so I stopped and help my mouth shut each time something stupped came out of it and it was an on going thing..and the problen is that she is a no it all and she is 100% right and we in the world are all wrong....

So this is a long story...Morgan is hesitant(sp) but so far going along with the program. She does not like the way I ride the kids about School work because she wants a free ride....not gone happen.

O yes I need to add this tid bit....My sisters house was robbed by Morgans so called friends 2 days ago...Morgan was talking to one of the girls and Morgan gave her the Code to turn off the alarm so she could get in to get something for Morgan...well they robbed her of about $10,000....


nice ha!!! well I will keep you up to date on the...hope you are all well...thanks for letting me vent...storys should be shorter as time goes by...at least I can only hope

Not one but TWO new ships!!!!!! Awesome!!!! I really, really, really hope one will be doing Alaskan cruises!!! Though DH might not want to wait another 5-6 years before going to Alaska!!!! I would love to go on at least one just to see what the new ships are like and hoping they go someplace we haven't been.

Robin, good luck. Sounds like Morgan isn't the brightest if she is giving the house code out!!!!! I hope your sister is going to file a police report! She sounds like a real peach. No sunblock, lots of oil??? Yes, let's fry ourselves! Smokes but won't eat organically grown veggies??? And if plucking your eyebrows more than 10 times makes them stop growing I shouldn't still be having to pluck so why do I ??? Ah well, family is family, eh?

I'm going to post and run....had bunco at my house last night and still have a bit of "ordering" to do. Then I have to get on the things I haven't been doing because of bunco...never ends, does it!

Robin, be careful with niece...sounds like she uses bad judgment. I'd hate to see you end up literally paying the price for her mistake! BTW, a similar thing happened to one of my neighbors over Christmas. The son gave a friend the right to a party...unknown to the parents. His friends aren't the most wholesome crowd and there was a lot of damage to the home. Of course, son tried to play dumb at first and then another child was being blamed....they finally straightened it out. I've known the boy for six years, my son tells me what he's up to, and I think I was the only one that suspected he and his group were involved from the beginning. (Just makes more sense than a near-stranger breaking in, doesn't it?) And your sister does sound a bit but aren't we all?
