Hello to everyone.

Cold and yucky here - we are under a snow advisory - of course the snow is expected for Monday when we have to go to work- hmm maybe I'll take the train to downtown toronto

My new Supervisor is a real B____. Not in the habit of using this type of choice language but OMG I can't believe that she has been let loose on humanity. Control freak and Micro Manager - I don't do well with those.

For those of you who know, I am in the midst of a accomodated work plan and am being eased back into the work place due to a workplace incident last Feb 14 in which I was assaulted by a client.

I had to, unfortunately report the supervisor to the union for harrassment and discrimination which of course I find very stressful.

We will see how she handles herself tomorrow.

Robin - Funny you mentioned you found your jewerly...I was wondering if you did or not. I was afraid to ask...did what to bring back sad memories.

Did anyone get their Litograph framed yet? I brought mine to the Framer yesterday. I can't wait until I can hang it up! While I was there I saw a Certificate from Park West. I believe this is the same company on the cruise ship. I mentioned this to the framer and he told me you get the best prices for artwork on the cruises. Oh well, what do I know, next cruise....

Oh, I just realized that I never posted about this.

Well, a while back, I mentioned that Taylor Mason was going to be on the cruise. We had seen him before and thought he was wonderful. Bought some DVDs and had our whole family and various work associates laughing like idiots.

We ended up meeting Taylor on the cruise and chatting for a bit. My mom and I both had our Paco puppets in hand

And to top it all off, for anyone who was at the Farewell Variety show, I was the one he called up to handle Sumo san! Nothing better than that for a Taylor fan! Though Sumo is VERY awkward to hold and quite tiring. I have new respect for ventriloquists.

When we were sitting in the airport afterwards and called my grandmother to wish her Merry Christmas, that was all she wanted to hear about. Forget all the wonderul Xmas experiences on the ship. Forget the Don "Ducky" Williams drawing I won. She was crazy jealous that we got to meet Taylor!

Good Morning Everyone

Have been trying to get caught up around here. I am still unpacking (I know, pathetic). I blame it one having a guest bedroom to throw everything in. Sometimes it's just easier to shut that door . Just got the little stuff left anyway. Seems like I lost a pair of capris somehow that I wore the last night for dinner. . Either that or I stuffed them in some super hidden compartment of my luggage that I've yet to discover. Had it been my jewlery I would have been nuts!!! Glad you found it Robin.

Denise...sorry to hear you had such an awful experience . I hope your job gets better for you and that mean person just goes away. Mean people suck!!!

Eileen - haven't framed mine yet. I am going to bring the litho from the last 10 day that I had framed and get a matching frame for this one. Even though they are holiday prints, I think I am going to hang them in my guest bedroom permenatly. I have a perfect spot for them side by side.

So is anyone from our 10 Day Gang going to try to book one of the CA Repo cruises??????

Doubtful for us. SWMBO would love to, but the May cruise is out because it is in the middle of school. The eastbound also will mess with school schedule. (We originally were booked on the eastbound repo the last time but had to cancel because it would have meant DS13 missing six days at the start of middle school.). Well, next year, he'd miss six days at the start of HIGH school. So not likely for us.

We probably won't ever do the 10-day holiday again either. We absolutely loved it, but felt we missed Christmas at home. I'd like to do the 7-day NYE cruise in 2007 if I could get the budget to work.

I don't think we'll do the repo, same reason...school. We already have one high schooler, next year we'll have two.

We probably won't do another Christmas cruise again, either! Again, same reason...the kids LOVED the cruise, but said they liked being home at Christmas. We always thought of this as an unusual thing. We like being home for Christmas too! The New Years thing on the other hand....but probably not this year. We want to do something special for Summer 2008, so probably need to save resources for that. We may do next New Years at the World, though.....

Kat, we just tried some of the Northwoods stuff last night with burgers...we really hadn't cooked the right kind of food since we got the package. We liked it, but there were too many other seasonings on the burger to get a real feel for it. We want to try it on something more basic.

Howdy ,Howdy, Howdy...

We will be doing the Mexican rivierea Cruise...most likely in Jule sometime...We go camping every year at a place called CAmpland by the Bay every summer for 10 days...it is only a 20 minute drive with the Motorhome so that is nice. The kids love it there and when I asked if in 2008 they would want to pass and do 2 cruises they said "No way are we going to Miss Campland...NO WAY"...so it will have to be around our already booked ressie...

We book it for 2 years in advanced cause hard to get the site that you want...just like the cruise...lot's of repeat campers.

will figure out our game plane and dates on Wen when the itinerary comes out and see what it will cost and go from there after I check our campland ressies...

I'm a registered Donor.... and god forbid anything happens to my children, there organs and tisue will also be donated...

Wouldn't have it anyother way..DH cant cause he has Hep C but even before he knew that, he did not want to be a donor, he says"But what if I need it on the other side"?...geesh...
