Joanie--I hate that you were misinformed. I know they can still give it to you because one cruise noone could ever wait on us at the desk. Everytime we tried she would close with a line still unserved. We got it the next day from
home.

Sure seems to be alot of misinformation lately from that direction. (referring to today's announcement that evidently won't come now until Friday.

It is cold, cold, COLD! here!!! Who went and turned the cold back on?? When I went to go to class this morning it was something like 31 degrees (or was it 36? ) but it felt like 21 or something like that. YIKES! My cheeks froze on the way to class. I say if it's going to be that cold then the least it could do is snow! I figure if it snows even an inch here people won't know what to do and none of the professors will show up. NO CLASS! Or it could at least ice.

Well the mail came and guess what was in there..I got my magnit ...I got my magnit...
it's so funny that such a small, brown inexpensive thing can make your day. I can't believe how "Disney" we all are. Wondering if anyother people get this crazy from other cruise lines??? Noooo I dought it cause they don't have the Disney addiction.

Sometimes I worry about all of us on the DIS. It was very scarry living out there all alone with this addicition and no where to turn,thinking something was wrong with me becasue none of my friends are like this when it comes to Disney...

Than Angela led me here, to all of you and the DIS thereds and than I said to myself..."I'm not alone ...I'm not alone...and I was freed and so know I come here and feed my addiction...Betty Ford where are you !!!!

Why should you be worried? My parents know who Kim and Ron are! In fact...when they were in WDW without me in December they saw and recognized Kim without me and knew I would be insanely jealous cause I had been trying to track her down for a year!! When we went in January they had to take me to her meet and greet spot at MGM so I could get my picture with her!! My dad even said maybe they'll bring Rofus out!!

Can't help you with the Disneyland info, Joanie. I went once when I was 15 yrs old and don't remember nothing except waiting in line 2 hours for Space Mountain (of course, that was long before I discovered these boards) Hope to get out there in 2008 though .

The official word should be out tommorow but for the Mexican Riviera it should be CAbo, Mazatlan and Peurta Vallerta(sp).

DL is fun and there are 3 hotels on property...Disneyland hotel, Paridise Pier and Grand Californian. They are all nice but the GC is nicest and you have access right into CAlifornia Adventure. That is where most people will be staying who are going on the cruise..at least that is how it was last time they were out here.

Go to this page and look to the lower right for "Search for Hotel" and click on it. As you scroll down you will see all 3 hotels and you can click on them and it will show you pictures and reviews and pricing which is cheeper than Disney prices by the way. I have used Expedia for years...also Orbitz with no problems.

Magic Kingdom at DL is the same as at WDW wxcept for a few added rides and entertainment but the layout is the same.

We always stay at Disneyland Hotel, it is right there at Downtown Disney and you can catch the monorail into the park, or a short wasl down DTD will take you right in the middle of both parks. The Parks are right across from each other so when you walk out of one you can walk into the other. No need for buses

We will be doing 5 days of DL before our cruise but not sure which Hotel we will stay at yet. Depends on cruise priceing and DVC points and if we will be doing one or 2 cruises....

We stayed at the Grand Californian. Benefits of this hotel are -- monorail right outside at Downtown Disney. and direct entry to California Adventure. (Although I know the monorail is under construction and only doing a one-way). One cool thing we did was sign up for an 'early morning' tour of CA. They led us around the park before it opened and we got to ride Soarin' before any other guests got into the park. This was two years ago, so they may not still do this. It was only for GC guests.

The CG is similar to the Wilderness Lodge at WDW except in an arts & crafts style.

You can easily see all of CA in one day. The raft ride is really cool and you don't want to miss California Screamin'. The west coast Tower of Terror is at CA as well. Soarin' (over California) is the same show as at Epcot.

DL California is bigger than the MK in Florida, but the castle is smaller.

Kat--if you don't mind me asking where did you get them? and have you seen the POC crocs yet? I haven't but I keep asking about them everytime I go into Dillards--they seem to have the largest selection here in Orlando. Who knows it may be something weird like a WDW exclusive thing. Noone seems to have even heard about them.

I haven't heard anything further about the theme crocs. I think they were talking about spring for those. I am hoping that our Hallmark stores (which carry the current Disney crocs) will get those too.

I order my jibbitz from www.jewelryinabag.com the Disney jibbitz run 3.00 each but the regular ones are cheaper than in the stores. I like them because the accept paypal. With things I have sold on ebay recently I didn't use any cash out of pocket to buy our latest batch of jibbitz!

By the way, unless things change, Sam and I will likely be at the parks in August!
