Sherrena, glad Brian is doing better.

So far I love my sleep number bed. Ihave mine set to 30 right now. The last two mornings I have awakened without the aching hips I have been feeling for several years now!

We are still looking at heading your way in June, nothing definite yet in terms of dates, though. Some will depend on when they finally decide what they are doing about making up snow days.

It isn't bad here. Temps in the high 20's today, upper 30's tomorrow, chance of snow and they are saying rain likely this weekend.

hey all, Samantha passed her Tae Kwan Do promotion to Yellow Belt last night! It's the first promotion they have done since she started so it has been a long time coming. She is so proud!!

I got a bit sidetracked yesterday. Brian went to the ortho for his check-up and the bone had moved...which I guess wasn't completely unexpected, the way the break was it tried to do that the day he was injured as well. So tomorrow he has to go in and have surgery. They will put him to sleep, re-set the arm, then put in a pin to hold it. After four weeks they will remove it. He acts like no big deal, but I can tell he is nervous... I know it is all pretty standard stuff, but will be happy when tomorrow is over.

We are all doing fine here and we have a few ups and downs...but for the most part we are cool

She does not know this but she can never go home....well at least tfor 2 years when she is 18.....I have here starting a shrink in a week and the dperson she will be seeing is great....

My sister had another incident today....Morgans so called friends planted upright huge nails in my sisters dirt driveway and so when she drove over them she blew out 2 tieres and one nail shot up and went through her heater..... punks!!!!!!1

I have also told |Morgan that when she talks to her dad that I need to be sitting there while phone is on speaker...she did not like that...but that is another story....DaD is a royal a** h*** and he needs to be monitered on how he talks....I dont expect it will go well when I twll him in a nice way and he may say that he wont bother to call then....I will let you know how he reacts...he cares nothing for his daugters in the way a fater should....

Anyway I'm good boys are good and Billie is good so that is good so will touch base tomorrow so to see hoe Brian is doing......so till than....Robin

just home from work..had to stop and do grcery shop-g at 11pm..but it was quiet, had the store to myself..

i am planing on coming to calif 2 days before the cruise in june 08..and staying one day after at disney-of course
does anyone know if there are any tours from the disney hotels to see touristy things in los angeles..like gr.chinese theater, walk of the stars..and what else is a must see while i am out there..robin do you know these things..or would i have to stay in l.a. for that kind of thing..i also considered staying at a hotel right in the harbour whr disney ship is..anyone have any suggestions..

Hi everyone! Brian is back at school today and it looks like he is going to make it through the day, which is a relief. When I was getting his jacket out of his bag for him I found the clothes that they cut off of him...made me get tears in my eyes. Then when I got to the school one of the man teachers gave me a detailed description he got from some of the other players about how the other boys' helmet his his wrist, bent it backward, dislocated it and kept bending it until the arm broke. Yep, upset stomach for me all day.

Hope things are going better for all of you. Our weather is nice this week, but I know the New England area is frozen. Don't know what's happening in the Midwest.

I think of you guys a lot..take care of yourselves...

Wow. I read this post before reading down and was trying to figure out what happened. (Clothes being cut off, arm being bent back -- I thought at first someone had attacked him!)

Hope the surgery goes well and his arm heals quickly.

Robin, why can't she go home for two years? Won't that put a crimp in your vacation plans, etc? Are things getting any better or are you still talking about an intervention?

Hope everyone is doing well....the weekend is almost here and tonight Dave and I are going to the Cirque du Soleil show that is touring. It is more a concert than a regular show but should be interesting. He got me the tix for Christmas.

Thanks all for the good wishes for Brian. He is home with his two pins and relatively happy. I think it has something to do with the pain medication. Hopefully the worst is over for him and he can concentrate on healing now.

Kat...my niece can't go home because if she does she will hook right back up with those loosers. When vacation time comes up than my sister can come and stay out here with her or take her somewhere else for 2 weeks...

Well decided that a Disney fix was in order....so after reading about everyone doing Disney I decided to book a 2 night stay at the GrandCalifornian for 2 days..they were so expensive....$425.00 a night for a regular room so instead of staying off site(great places off site for great prices ) I used 66 of our DVC points..cause I want to stay on site of course.....

Why do they charge such high prices...seems like highway robbery....it just amazes me....normally we would not pay such a rediculous amount and if not for the points would have stayes in one of the off site hotels....we will be driving to eat of the park like to IHOP or something that is all around the park....

We will still be paying for our 2 day hopper passes but we will get California resident prices of $83.00 each for the 2 days....

So that is my news...hope all is well and Brian is on the mend...so till tomorrow,.....Me

Brian is doing better. He's been to school every day, went to his team's game over the weekend and one of the practices (to watch) this week. He's coming off of the pain killers. It may or may not be related, but he is in a bit of a funk today, but I think he's going to have his moods through this whole thing.

Wow Robin - I want to be standing in line behind you at the gates of heaven because you must have already earn a fast pass by now. Well good luck with that. I think you should talk to you shrink about how to establish a relationship and boundaries with your neice that will make it totally unacceptable for her "new friends" to do to your family what her "old friends" are doing to your sister. Maybe your sister should consider relocating and making a new life closer to you and your family so you can help her but not do all of the work.

Been busy. My blazer's transmission went out. So guess who got a new car for my birthday. You guessed it, David!! He said I could get whatever I wanted. He wanted me to choose the H3. We test drove the H3 and liked it alot but it did not perform any better than the Sorento for $20,000 less so to me it was a no brainer. So David has been driving OUR 2006 Sorento 4X4. Woo hoo. That has been some of our excitement. Had three deaths of our friends since we returned from the cruise and found out that my SIL (not either from the cruise) has a brain tumor. She is only 38. Big and growing they are going to remove it the end of this month. Two girls 9 and 12. My Brother is beside himself. The prognosis is good right now though so I will guess we will see.

Wow sorry to here about your SIL.....hope that all turns out okay. We have acouple of friends that had brain tumors and made it through just fine. But the problem is always wondering if it will come back. How sad...how we all hate that worfd with the big "C".....

As for my niece she went to the shrink today and came out not to happy but her moos is much inproved. Her teachers reports are very promising.

She was going to be rewardes with getting her Drivers permit cause she has been doing well here but than we foound out that she has been using her friends cell phones to call those crazy people and has been in touch with them since the begging.....one of her so called florida crazy friends told on her...and I got the phone number of the phone she used and told him not to let Morgan use the phone because she was calling criminals....

he was shocked that I new and got his #...lol So I told her because of breaking our trust that I am not taking her to get her permit at this time due to it is me taking her and that it will be our vehicals that she will be driving. Than I spoke with her ...not lecuered her about trust again and sent her to her room for the night and that she was not aloud to eat with the family and she needed to think about what had happened.

My sister tolod her if she finds out one more time that she called those people than she will be going to Montana through way of a intervention.

so that is my story.....TEENS..geesh!!!!!
so today was a busy day..school dance and decorating...and working hard for a school wide event for next friday for History DAy...and I'm tiered...so till tomorrow...all of you have a great blessed day

soo sorry to hear about your sil..brain tumors are no picnic
my sister has had brain surg 3 times in her life to remove brain tumors deep in the brain..sh is fine now..still has one tumor still in there..but it is small..whn it starts to grow sh wl go for the 4th time..thy keep growing back..its a decease tht runs in my family..its called von hipple landau ..whn sh had her first operation the didnt know alot abt it..it as so deep in the circle of willis, the local brain
surg sd it was inoperable and snt her home to die..my uncle took her to a n.y. hosp..thy saved her life..sh went there for the next 2 also..
your sil wl be in my prayers..keep us informed
