That seems to be the mantra for a lot of us of late!

"The cruise is coming! The cruise is coming!"

Yup, that's what I keep saying to myself whenever things get bad!!

Me too...
Hi all. I think I am now in packing mode for realish. I just ordered a stick-to-the-wall shower caddy for our room. I read a note a wrote to myself to figure out more room for stuff in the shower...

Hi Everyone...got snow? :goodvibes

snow days are fun...susan glad that your family is safe...do you enjoy the snow days as much as you did when you were a kid ?

Have been online shopping...went to cafepress.com and was looking under "Pirate" and found lots of stuff...go and read some, they are a hoot!
I purchased some buttons...I could not resist. :)

Today will be busy and need to square as much up as I can this week. The pressure is on...but I will do it because well,I have to...no one else is going to.

I want to be rich, have a couple clones and Johnney Depp or Orlando Bloom to play with...this is my Christmas list...easy enough don't ya think!

all you organizers would hate my situation..i can only pack a day before the cruise lol...cause of school

You are correct!!! I couldn't stand that!! It's bad enough DD wants to use her new backpack for her carry-on and she will be taking it to school that day! So I will have to have all the stuff she wants to bring set aside so we can come home, empty out the school stuff, put her luggage tag on it and put her travel stuff into the backpack. It is a rolling backpack so that is why she wants to bring it on the trip. At least with our current departure time we will have time to go home and do that before we have to leave!

Well its sounds like WA had there snow storm, here in Southern California we had our first Winter Storm of the season. Now a Southern California winter storms consists of a rainy day, about 1/2 inch plus temps in 50's and 60's. Yea its pretty harsh, but we are surviving... lol... Today its sunny and in the upper 60's already, still cold to me. I just cant wait to get on this cruise!!

it's about 65 here in NC...sunny...very nice...

winter storms in NC apparently consist of alot of ICE!

Oh all I get is the night before. :rotfl: I have 2 exams on the 15th and then I'm coming home as soon as I'm done. I'm not even sure how I'm getting home yet. :confused3 I gotta figure it out by the end of the week.

Good afternoon!

Congrats on the snow day, Susan...

I know you're sick of the weather...but I know where you can get some sun and fun very soon... :boat: :beach:

Haven't had time to think about anything but little home maintenance project today...of course things take longer than they should and being transferred around 15 times and then disconnected on the 16th transfer doesn't ever improve ones' disposition... :furious:

This whole thing about DCL waiting until the last minute to do docs seems a little  ...maybe I'll call them and take out my frustration from my previous waste of time phone call. They have to know some people make plans for WDW right before their cruises....they also have to know that mail gets unpredictable this time of year....what could they be thinking? :confused3

OK, better go try to get one thing marked off my extensive list today, or I'm going to be all stressed... :bitelip: talk to you later!

Yikes :scared1: I'm wondering if I was EVER like that? I know I felt pressure to start planning much sooner when I married DH and had kids. With DH I just had to make sure he thought of everything he might need, then he packed for himself, and with kids I had to pack for more people. I've started letting boys pack themselves when we go to the beach and stuff, because as long as they have shorts and a swimsuit or two, they're good--worst case we'll have to wash the stuff a couple of times but we have a washer/dryer where we stay so no problem. On the cruise I will probably get more heavily involved. Otherwise they'll be wearing dirty swimsuits to dinner by about the 3rd night! :sad2:

lol...my exams are done the 13th at 4pm...i'll wait for traffic to go away then drive home and get there around 3am or so... lol...

Sherrena,

Where are you staying at WDW again and when again do you get there? We will be at the BCV on the 11th...

Hi Robin!

We're stopping there after...and staying at OKW...the kids get out of school on the 15th, so we're here until then...

I love going after Christmas...they have the Christmas parade in the afternoon...we've stayed through New Years a couple of times (but won't this year). It's really fun...we like OKW for that, because there is a place there where you can stand and see fireworks from Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney...usually all of the parks do something right around midnight. We've gone to MGM on New Years Eve, but the boys were younger and we left by about 10:00 to get home and watch fireworks--but the place was rocking...like a big street party! One year I hope to go when they are old enough to stay at the park until after midnight....

Hi Folks,

Getting close to the big day. :cool1: I haven't read the posts in a while, can someone tell me when and where the Meet and Greet is? Are there any other functions planned? We are looking forward to meeting everyone; My granddaughter is getting pretty anxious. We have a foot of snow at our house in Washington, I'm tired of it already ;)> Thanks, Dick and Julie
