I realized that I have to go find some nice tops for DD for dinner time as she only has t-shirts, all her nicer tops are long sleeve and will be much too warm for the cruise. ugh. And of course being in the snow belt there is almost nothing in short sleeves available that isn't a t-shirt. Resale stores maybe?
DD finally gave me her Christmas list. She wants Pixel Chix, Cube World AND a Game Boy! I think not..... Not with the cruise this year. And she wants more stuffed animals! She has way too many as it is so no more. Ah well.

My 14 year old also looks like Harry Potter...not so much now that he is maturing, but a couple of years ago when he was more boyish looking and wore glasses (contacts only these days!) people would come up to us in restaurants and stuff and tell us that.
Of course, I wouldn't tell him that any more...he's 14 going on 16...Some people even think he looks older than the 16 year old...which he kinda does...because 16 year old is still a little behind him in development...16 year old's voice is JUST starting to change, 14 year old's well on the way! 14 year old also weighs more, and we all think will be a bigger guy when it's all done. Luckily, 16 year old is still just a bit taller, so his self esteem isn't totally beaten down. Mine is, they're both taller than me and gaining on dad quickly.

KSDTink said:Yeah, Macy's bought one of our local dept. stores so I can check there this weekend. She is so picky, though! No buttons, no lace, not too girly girl, no pink.... what a nightmare!!!
