12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise Part 3

oh cool! yeah, i would imagine that most places wouldn't really let you go in. i guess if you want to go somewhere you kind of got to do it yourself? who knows. i'm sure google will have my answers.

Good Morning/Afternoon everyone
Another nice day today about 80 degrees. It rained yesterday and everyone in my house was welcoming the change.

I called DCL about why they have not changed the Christmas info and they said that is has been changed and I said it is not showing up online...I asked how much there little Chrsitmas tree was and she said $ 75.00 I was stunned at first than just and said well guess I will have to bring one from WalMart,just wanted to avoid packing it.

She said that Doc's have not gone out yet and will go out up to 14 days prior.
She said start looking for then after Thanksgiving.

Has anyone seen or talked with Dee ? wandering where she went to?

I say we start bombarding them with calls and emails asking why the gifts and amenities still show Halloween!! That is ridiculous. You can't even order the Halloween stuff anymore, it is over, and our cruise is one month away!!!!! What do you all think? Anyone else want to start an email campaign??

With everything I have going on right now nobody wants to mess with me . Between work driving me , bills driving me , SIL driving me to and DH very , right now I am walking a fine line .

I wish DH would go to the doctor. He thinks he might have pneumonia and I got no sleep last night because he was up and down and tossing and turning. His lungs are full of phlegm and he is miserable, fever, can't breathe, etc. I'd be at the doctor if I felt like that, but no, he'd rather sit around and whine. .

And tonight I get off work at 5:00, pick up DD, shove food at her, go and get Mom, have to get DD to girls scouts by 6, feed Mom, take care of DH, pick DD up at 7:30. No rest for the weary today .

Calgon, take me away!!!!!!!

What is it about men that they won't go to the Doctor? Even if it is not pneumonia and just a bad case of bronchitis, he's going to need drugs....

I have one of those nights too...it's pouring rain here, DH is traveling, and I'm primary chauffeur....



I don't want to e-mail, I'm sure they'll get the stuff on the web site in plenty of time for me to decide I don't want any....

I wasn't really serious about emailing, I am just on a rampage today Don't mind me.

There are several people I would really, really like to apply the golden rule to and do unto them as they have done unto those close to me but I can't....

Thanks Jen, me too. DH is refusing to go to the doctor still so I don't know how that will go. SIL will be moved out of Mom's house after Thanksgiving so that will get better after next week. And we leave for the cruise in 30 days!!!!

Listen, when you are sick, one of two things can happen -- either you get better, in which case there is no need for a doctor, or you die, in which case, there is also no need for a doctor.

So I have some moderately good news. Took the backup disc of my pictures over to my mom's house. She got it to at least open the list of docs on there. Which is good because she does not have the software required to open it. SO... I think the pictures are on there. Now to take the computer to the doctor. I can't decide if I want to go today or tomorrow. But probably the sooner the better as all the cruise stuff is on the broken computer. This could drive me to EAT!!!


Kat - My DH is the same what but I load his 40 year old 6'7" butt into the car and take him because I cannot stand the whining. He probably isn't quite as difficult though because we all have asthma and if we get anything it gets serious pretty quickly. You might try the approach that you really need to get him started on some medication because the last thing you need is for your DM to come down with it. Here is a little for you and him.

Listen, when you are sick, one of two things can happen -- either you get better, in which case there is no need for a doctor, or you die, in which case, there is also no need for a doctor.

Or you get grumpy and whiney for an extended period of time....then s-l-o-w-l-y get better instead of going to the doctor and feeling much better and being civil in three days!

Guess we know which one you fall into...
