The Beach crocs are about the most comfortable thing I have ever worn on my feet and are great for the beach, sand, boat, etc.

Susan, sounds like a plan. Have fun.... I wish my DD liked to go shopping more. I'd love it if she liked to go off to the mall with me but it is not often she is willing to do that :(

My 16yr old LOVES to shop but its me that doesn't. She'll force me to get what I need... without her I would just do without. :cool1:

DD says no way - crocs are ugly. But I want to try on. I'm of the age that comfort wins out over everything.

Wish I could wear same size as DD but alas her feet are an 8.5 mine 7. She is 5'7" size small, my I'm 5'1" size XL :teeth:

Yeah, my DD will be ahead of me yet. She is only 10 and is about a half a shoe size behind me! I really think it is in the food, growth hormones and what not! Children are developing earlier, etc. At 10 she is already more "developed" than I was at 15! :scared1: :faint: She has been avoiding jeans for a long time and finally decided last night that maybe she'd try them again. She wore them to school today and DH said it was time to put her in potato sacks!!! It's a good thing daddy has access to a backhoe and 5 acres of industrial wasteland!!!

ha! ha! When mine turned 9 DH took up karate - now he's a second degree black belt! scares all the guys away

it was not the size 3 XL jeans that bothered my DH it was the size 32 C's that worried him :lmao:

Oh, and she is a tall, 125 lbs

I agree - Lexi (DD16) is the shortest of her best girl friends and knowing DH id 6'4" she probably isn't done. I really hope DS 14 isn't done - he is more like me about 4'9" :lmao: :lmao:

Better you than me with the snow! Though we will likely see some before the cruise :( .

Yes, definitely get crocs. But pay the extra and get the real thing! Mom and I tried on one of the copycat brands last year and thought they were awful. Then this year we both tried on the real crocs and they are ALL she will wear now and I love mine too.

A lot of people say they are good for their backs and joints...I have a friend that swears by hers, and on the boards people say it has helped them "Park Walking..."

what are crocs?

Jen, I know you have seen people your age wearing them...

They're a special soft plastic thing, good for walking but can't be hurt by water or anything... Some are styled like clogs, some like Sandals.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: You were kidding right? :confused3 :rotfl2:

Kidding about what part? No, I was serious about everything I said in there. Except maybe the industrial wasteland :lmao:

Though DH swears that he has enough space available to get rid of the first 100 or so boys that look at her wrong :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Susan - did you get yahoo site working for you? If not, let me know and I will see what I can do to help.

Hi Angela! How's it going out there? I keep hearing about more flooding in the northwest and wonder how you, Dee and Susan are doing.

Hello All,
Someone told me about this site, we are booked on the Holiday Cruise for December. We can't wait. This is our first Disney Cruise. My husband and I have been DVC members since June 2005 and this is the BIG trip.
