12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise Part 3

Hello Everyone,
We have not started to Trick or Treat yet...will be going out in about 20 minutes at around 6:15. Very quiet up on the hill right knwo. Wsually we have about 10 kids that go with us but they are all doing othere things so my boys are dissapointed that they are only together with each other.

Could have gone to a huge block party but they decided not to. It goes till 8:30 so may still go after.

Well need to get them ready...chat with you later...and

STAY AWAY FROM YOUR KIDS CANDY!!!!

I'm back from delievering kids to dive lessons. No trick or treaters yet. We never get a lot anyway.

I have about 1.5 hours until NCIS

Hey guys, I'm here but I'm about to close it down for the night...

Trick or treat over, good thing because candy was running low...

Sounds like DS 13 (14 on Thursday) has gone his last time. Probably appropriate--I'm not sure he would have tonight except that a couple of his friends wanted to and he was afraid he would miss something.

Kat, I'll check out your pictures tomorrow. I'll try to get one of Kev and pals (we didn't get a chance to take any of him alone) and post too.

awesome pics Kat!!! your Darth Vader looks so real! i have Vader's lightsabre from Master Replicas..its the kind the make noise and real lights and stuff like that. The FX kind. That would have def. made him have the coolest costume for sure...his costume was already rockin!

I'm awful glad I bought playdoh instead of candy as halloween giveaways because it is almost 7pm and no visiters. If I had gotten candy I would have eaten it all.

Instead I am making dinner so when the family gets home about 10 from diving they will have some food.

is that the door bell....no the TV

our driveway at home was 1/2 mile long so we never did trick-or-treat. We drove to another neighborhood to go candy gathering.lol...

I think the kids around here do to. No sidewalks or streetlights. I am avoiding making dinner and grading papers...

hmm..maybe...grade the papers! kids love teachers who grade fast lol..i've been cursed with slow graders my whole school years

I'm not a slow grader. I am usually an overnight grader but these are big leadership notebooks - I have 10 of 30 done. Grades are due in for 1st qtr this week. Gotta get them done....tomorrow!

ah i see..that's alot of work..lol...what subject do you teach (sorry if you said it before...i have a bad memory)

I teach 8th grade US History and Leadership / student government

OKay turn around id fair game - Where do you go to school? DH and I went to Franklin and Marshall in Lancaster, PA many, many years ago.

Okay I think my stove is going. Had it on medium and I practically burned everything???? The smoke alarm went off (DH calls these the Susie's cooking alarm) and I can't decide whether the fog is my glasses or smoke?

I'm not a cook and I have been married for almost 24 year!!!

scary... I went to Robinson High school in Fairfax, Va class of ... okay ready... '79.

But I really am a kid at heart or I wouldn't be on my 11th year of teaching 8th grade!!!

I only attempted dinner because DH had a bad day...his company was bought out and now everything is in limbo. I think I am more upset them him. If he hadn't had a bad day I would let him fend for himself- like normal.

Hey Jen - ever been on another cruise besides Disney?
