Shirley posted on that one too, said it was quite possible it really is him. Don't know???

Yeah, you mentioned that before about Jimmy. I suspect Dave probably feels the same so he probably won't have a shirt either. Oh well. :confused3 We can still have fun.

Oh, he'll have lots of fun. He's the type that talks to EVERYBODY and will say anything and seems to get away with it. He just doesn't understand talking on-line to total strangers. That's OK, I told him he can't know the secret handshake anyway :smooth:

I don't know who Ty Pennington is. I read the thread and I still can't figure it out :confused3

Morning everyone

Do they usually have notables on a trip like this? I'd think those people would charter a private boat just to keep people from going crazy around them. And if we have a wish list, can I please pass on Hannah Montana and Raven and go straight for Captain Jack? pirate: Forget the kids going crazy, let's let the moms have a little fun! :lmao:

DS and Dad have headed out for LaCrosse game. Can't believe they haven't cancelled due to wet fields, but so far they are on. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the fields, so we figure they'll call them about the time he gets there! I opted out, because it is cold and windy and had two other children sleeping. While DS16 can be in charge, he would rather sleep in, and Kev :bounce: would be running amuck.

Angela, from the sounds of things I don't know how you find time to exercise...or to eat for that matter! Sounds like you are working ahead, so good luck. :thumbsup2

Kat, so the fabric transfers worked for the front? Did you cut around the design or just leave it square? I guess Sam isn't used to designs on the back of t-shirts. Maybe she'll now notice that it is done a lot and be fine with it. Like you said, especially when she sees other people with them. None of my guys ever had an emotional moment about clothes, there are just a lot of things they won't wear. No emotion, just uh-uh. :smooth: These shirts are fine with all of them, though. I have heard of common wardrobe meltdowns with girls though....ah the things we do for fashion!

Speaking of which, I'm thinking I'll be headed to the mall to buy jeans for my teenager. Both of us would rather be shot. He hates going into the stores which makes me hate taking him. But he has to try things on, because there are things he doesn't like, and he's long-legged and thin, sometimes hard to fit. Rather than running back and forth, :moped: I make him go. Or he can wear the ones from last year and start the Raphael Nadal capri pant look for boys in his school! :rotfl2:

On the '04 10 Day, they had Christy Carlson Romano. She did a couple of shows and had a question & answer/autograph signing session with the kids.

We have a couple of cruisers that know DCL Brass.....perhaps we could get a little inside info :rolleyes1

ETA: I read Mary's (WDWLVR) trip report and they had Jodi Benson (Ariel) performing on their DVC cruise. I would have loved to see her perform. They also had Roy Disney and he did presentation of some kind.

I'm trying to tell you, but can't think of the show....it's on Sundays, and they find people with sad stories and rebuild their houses, and line up their neighborhoods to yell "move that bus" at the end....While they demolish and rebuild the homes the family goes to WDW. He's the head guy, emcee, whatever for that show. Does that help at all?

Thanks. Well, that's why I have no clue who he is. I have never seen that show. I will have to look for it. If you think of the name, let me know, OK?

OK, I went on ABC.com and looked it up--only took a second, should have done it the first time. Extreme Makeover - Home Edition. Comes on Sundays at 8:00 for us--right before Desperate Housewives. :thumbsup2 It's a nice show, usually very touching--and what they do with those houses is amazing! I also think that along with that show Ty Pennington now does some decorating lines--maybe for Sears?

I think Jodi Benson would be awesome to see, the mermaid was one of my favorite Disney shows--just ask my family! ;) I'm not going to mention the possibility of a Disney channel celebrity showing up to my kids. While the older two would at least pretend not to care, Kev would get his hopes up. Better to have the good surprise!

And as for our cult, I guess you haven't told DH about the matching tattoos yet?? :rotfl2:

Good morning... coffee is brewing. It's Saturday and what am I doing up at 6am? We had a crazy busy day yesterday and I fell asleep at 7pm, my DH fell asleep on the sofa and came to bed at 5am. When he does that I can never go back to sleep.

I have 4 pages of this to read through before the coffee is finished. :surfweb:

Morning Susan :wave2:

You know, we have to take our sleep when we can get it. I felt like that yesterday, but Kev had several of his buddies over and it was raining out--there was no chance of sneaking a nap!

Thanks, Sherrena. Well, that fits in nicely since I am a Deperate Housewives fan too. Although it is starting to get a little Melrose Place  . Marcia Cross is from Marlborough. My husband doesn't know her but he knows other members of her family.

Good Morning, Susan :surfweb:

You'll have to tell me if you ever see her in person. I agree, sometimes the show gets Melrose Place, but as long as they continue to make me laugh out loud pretty regularly, I'll keep watching. By Sunday evening I'm ready for some no-brain entertainment! :happytv:

MY 16 year old finally passed her driving test yeasterday!!! :drive: Second time ins the charm! She is such a rules follower and very hesitate. MY 14 year old son (I can officially say that now! He is 14) can't wait to drive and since no rules follow him- I can wait a long time. :rotfl:

Well, I am off today to officially start the "looking for cruise wear". I have the black capris for dinner wear and nice gold top from Ann Taylor and that's about it. My goal in the next few weeks is to find something for formal night since I will likely have to have the length altered.

Julia wants to come "help" me. I am totally a "shop alone" type of person, but how can I refuse some quality shopping time with DD  .

Bad morning...waiting for the coffee but nothing is coming. :confused3 It would help if I added water???? :lmao:

The only thing worse that that is when you don't set the carafe properly and you come downstairs thinking you are going to get a nice fresh cup of coffee and instead you have a brown flood all over the counter

Yes, those tatoos on our forehead should be a big hit with the spouses :rotfl:

OH, I can relate.... (to the no-water and the brown flood)

OK, ladies...I'm outta here. Wish me luck in finding a gown that makes me look 20 pounds thinner :thumbsup2

I am starting my shopping this weekend too. But my DD is a big help. I hate to shop. Except groceries, wonder why? And she keeps me on track and forces me not to look too frumpy. I'm a 45 yr old work in progress.

I heard the coffee gurggle..........

Congrats to Daughter!

My 16 year old had his birthday in September and "bad mommy" isn't letting him take the test yet. Right now he's scheduled for January. I'm not worried about him not driving well and breaking rules (he is also a rules follower) but although I got him his learners permit last September, he didn't want to drive until about this August! He just refused. I didn't want to pressure him, I told him that he could wait as long as he needed, but that he needed LOTS of hours practicing with someone in the car before we got him the license. Since he didn't start until August, it will just take awhile. He doesn't like it, but this is one I'm staying tough on. Too many kids killed on the roads around here for me to send him out without experience.
