My sister and I took our sons to bingo last year - it was full of kids. The callers even had lots of keychains and other Disney cruiseline prizes to give to them.

Okay, boys got lots of freebies but we won nothing :(

The Disney resorts do bingo too...not just a cruise line thing. Prizes were just little giveaways, nothing big.

Does that make it more/less OK?

Don't ask me, I'm the one with the corrupt teenager. Does it make anyone feel better or worse that his social dilemna this evening is whether to go with friends to play team trivia (junk prizes) at a local restaurant or go to youth group at a friend's church? If I had to bet  I'd say he'll play trivia tonight and go to Christian Youth event at school tomorrow.

If I were him Id go with my friends and play Team Trivia... :goodvibes

Church is important but when your youn it's all about fun and socalizing...and he can go tomorrow which is great!

And where is Kat? She goes and gets a great Avatar  and then gets stingy about posting so we can see it! :lmao:

Sorry, I got off work and have been taking care of Mom. Just put dinner in the oven and am trying to catch up on the boards! I'll pull you number and put it in my phone too, Jen.

Well, in this case all events are about socializing, it's just about whether the socialization has a church flavor. He will go to the thing tomorrow. He turned down the youth group thing tonight, because he and other friends had been loosely planning the trivia since the weekend. Of course, now the loose plans have fallen apart, and he's stuck with us! :teeth: They've done trivia probably 3 of the past 5 weeks, so some of the thrill is wearing off. I have done it before, I think it is really fun!

We've been booed so must plan reciprocal boo, and DH is due home soon from other son's music lesson... :hourglass maybe I should start figuring out what my family is eating??? ;) Guess I'd better go do that! :wave2:

We don't have an HD store nearby so a while back a couple of the wonderful ladies on here mailed me bunches of Mickeys. I still have some left if anyone wants them....

Yes, my door needs them, so do my luggage tags!!

I got home before 4pm! Thanks for reminding me that I would have to come up with a dinner. I haven't got home this early in weeks, usually it is coming home at 7:30 8 pm.

I still have school work to do but.. I'm at my own house instead of at school or in the car...amazing!

I thought so... my old Disney ones are breaking. But Angela you and me were those (SAY WA) transportation people. I noticed that all flights from Seattle to Orlando are sold out on non-stop. Wanta bet we stop in Dallas?

Do we get disney luggage tags if we booked transportation through disney?
Hi Angela,
Yes you will. I will also be using them to help seperate my luggage from everyone else instead of like a red ribbion. Cause everytime I cruise and get home there are other cruisers with the same color luggage and same tags.

Jen-

DH had to go get new divecards today - all he could find were his 4 dive books and open water 1 &2. Naui (sp?) took his dive record and signed information from his old PA dive shop (where he got it all) and he got a Masters card (didn't exist when he got all his original cards. If he shows a new First Aid card they will send him a new rescue diver card (but he doesn't have that - HA! I do and I don't dive)

Well I just emailed our TA at AAA because my neice is listed in my SILs reservation, but my SIL and her family are flying down on the 10th. I read where Guests traveling on separate reservations may be ticketed on different airlines. My neice is the only one on that reservation not flying in ahead of time. Let's just see how screwed up this is going to get. :rolleyes1

sounds like fun...

I'm definately interested in hearing about your outcome.

Right now there are little to no morning flights but 3 flights that leave around noon and get in to Orlando at 11:30 pm. I am truly hoping against that since we begged and pleaded to get off the red-eye Disney orginally told us we would have to take because I AM NOT a night person and one missed night will wreak three days of cruising.

I did not want red eye either so booked by myself. I have always booked by myself but always check to see what they are offering and how much. they again were only offering 6:00am or red eye...
booking myself I have an 8:15 an out and 3:15 return both flights 6 hrs.

This is our 4th Disney cruise and we only booked air with them one time, will never do that again. The times they gave us were awful with long layovers. I get cheaper flights by booking myself, have control over the times and can choose the airline. We are flying in Friday night and staying near the airport and then driving to the port on Saturday morning. DH will drop DD, myself and the luggage off and return the rental car while I get us checked in. Hopefully we will actually get onboard early enough this time to have lunch. We have never gotten to port early enough before so we are hoping to be able to do so this time!
