I hope you are not talking about *THIS* cruise, Dee. That would stink. If it is, I hope you can work something out where you can take care of braces and cruisin ;) .

As far as the Ornament Exchange, has anyone stepped up to take charge of this yet??? Last time (on the '04 cruise) we just met in the Sessions Lounge (I think that's the one - on deck5). We did not reserve anything, just showed up. There was PLENTY of room and we had a pretty good turn out. I like the idea of a local ornament. It really was alot of fun.

Oh Dee - you have to go! Ryan will be heart broken. But I completely understand. I didn't notice anything wrong with Keith's pearly whites and you know those two were grinning and ham it up for the pictures. :teeth: Keep us posted.

Dee, unless he has lost all his baby teeth they can't be serious! Sam went to the orthodontist several months ago and they think she will need braces but won't do anything about it until she has lost all her baby teeth. Thankfully she is way behind in that area so we have a few years yet. They said 10 is still too early to do braces as she hasn't lost all those baby teeth yet, thank goodness!

So, it is decided. The braces will have to be taken care of AFTER all cruise fun has been had! :teeth:

I'm off to a charity lunch/holiday mart. Wish me luck--I'm hoping I can pick up a few Christmas gifts (or a special ornament!) HO! HO! HO! :santa: :santa: :santa:

yes after is very good lol...the more people we have the more fun we all will have out our gatherings

DH looked at the stack of finished stockings last night and asked me how many of those things I was doing. I have finished all the ones for the regulars on the board. Have several for folks whose names are on the list but who haven't confirmed they are actually still going and then there are those who haven't even given me their choice of character yet. I think I have 9 left that I haven't done. He just shook his head and rolled his eyes. Don't think he understands! :sunny:

non dis people rarely do understand.

Can I go home??? Massive headache today, don't know why :( :headache: .

Check your sugar level, Kat!

Thanks guys, you're all so great! I won't make any decisions until after the orthodontist appt. I can't stand the thought of not going!

He hasn't lost all his baby teeth yet, but some of them are actually growing in crooked -- they can see it on the x-ray they took. Plus his mouth is already very crowded...so we'll see. I'm holding out hope that a) they'll want to wait a litle longer and b) we can work out a payment plan. Send us PD...I'll kee you informed!

Kat, ironically, I got the stocking yesterday. It's sooooooo pretty! You did a great job on the name! It needs to go on the fish outside 7504!

Hi Kat :sunny:
That is alot of work...and appreciated more than you know.
I know that you and Dee are spliting the cost...would it help to have a 3rd person chip in? don't want to rain on your parade and intrude in your offer but if a 3rd person chipping in $ would help then let me know and divide the cost 3 ways instead of 2 ways. I can send you $ know or when I see you...no problem mailing you both a check!
If you say no...that you want it to only be your special gift I will not get offended. Just thought the extra cash would be nice for you to have for the cruise.. :teeth:

Robin :)

Dee, glad you like it. They are all a little different. I found those "buttons", though, and couldn't resist. Aren't they great? Just wish they were all DIS green!

Yep, I think they will look great on the fish!

The orthodontist we took Sam to wouldn't even consider braces until all her baby teeth are gone so if yours does you might want to go for a 2nd opinion. I certainly wouldn't want anyone putting braces on my child's teeth if they hadn't gotten all their adult teeth in yet.

I went out at lunch today and there was s*** falling from the sky!!! :furious: Ugh!!! At least it wasn't sticking!

Hope your are feeling better soon :grouphug:

Dee, lots and lots of PD coming your way :tinker: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Good Luck!!

Hey Sandra, I was looking at Jen's sight last night (which, BTW looks awesome, Jen) and noticed you have the cabin we were in for the 2004 X-Mas Cruise. This time around we booked the same cabin we were in for the 2002 cruise.

I have a question...
I have let my boys check in and out of the Lab after 2-3 days(untill familure with the ship and rules again) on the ship. They have to go together and they both have walkie talkies because if they are in the Arcade and one desides to get food or go in the pool we can keep track of them.
Do any of you let there children check in and out? Branden is 12 and will be allowed to check out with his older friends and our friend Ashley who will be joining us with her parents.
Michael is allowed to go on his own as long as I go where he is and bring him where he wants to go. I will drop him off at the Theater and he can watch the movie by himself but as soon as he is ready to go he needs to page me on his walkie Talkie and I go and get him.
Just wondering because If he goes without me he needs to buddy up with someone. :)
Robin

Robin, my DD10 wants to have sign out privilages and the only time I am leery is when I am off the ship and she doesn't go with me (right now I think the afternoon on Key West is the only time this will happen though she may not want to go ashore on Antigua either). We don't bring walkie-talkies but the last time we cruised (last summer) she was very good about going straight back to the room if she wanted to leave early after dinner and not going anywhere until we got back to the room so unless she shows that we can't trust her I am willing to show her that we are willing to trust her and let her show us that that trust is well founded.
