Woke up to thunderstorms here this morning, oh joy. That and a 10 year old in my bed because of the storms! Poor kid. My internet was down too. Had to unplug the modem and the network and restart both to get it going again. I hate that , especially when I am not yet awake.

I found pics of the Brig Unicorn yesterday that the photographer says are from filming of POTC II, background shots or something, I guess. Interesting.

I'm glad for this thread today!

Woke up to find our we're losing our tennis guy, under I think less than pleasant circumstances, (effective immediately always a tipoff--plus, I actually heard a rumor that this was in the works a month ago.) This following a similar situation on Friday with a favorite exercise instructor. There is plenty of speculation about why in both cases but these things just happen. It's just weird when you get two people vaporized in just a few days, though.

I'll just ignore all of the hubbub and come here to dream about warm sun, Caribbean music, and rum punch! Lots and lots of rum punch!

Today being outside will get me in the mood--we're supposed to be in the 80's! I thought I was spending the afternoon doing an on-line training thing, but I found out this morning it has been put off until November. So I guess maybe I'll work on "transforming" my house for Fall. While I was here all weekend worrying about and such, my neighbors houses all changed! Now there are pumpkins, bales of hay and Halloween things everywhere!

After today's workout with whatever instructor, I'm off to buy Fall junk and throw it around my yard and house! Thanks for setting up this line, or what I now consider my little hideaway!

I got the Halloween decorations up in my office yesterday but the house ones require getting up in the attic and I just haven't gotten that motivated yet.

There is a thread already for the "Teens" but nothing for the younger ones. When we get it going today I will let you know.

Hi Jen,How are you today?????? How come your not at school?????
I moved the tread up to the top. The last post they had were on September 29. Not as busy as this Thread,but were all older. Have you talked with anyone in there that are also 18? Personaly I like you in here your fun to chat with and you have a lot in common with all of us....don't realy consider you a Teen! And you started this thread and did a great job. Have you thought about posting this thread in the teen thread to tell them to come on over here? that might be a good idea! I don't think anyone cares how old anyone is and we are all excited about our DC no matter what age?

Sounds like a good idea! My DD10 would enjoy it I am sure. She has been emailing one of the other girls but I am sure she would also have fun chatting with other kids too. She hangs out with boys at school (she is a self-professed tomboy) so if there are boys her age who don't mind chatting with girls she might even talk to them! Definitely let us know and I will get her signed up with a name, etc.

We had some of those teens on here at one point. Unfortunately not all of them are as mature as our Jen!

i am in college..lol..no set school and i always have my computer

Why don't we just us the one Keith started allredy...if he took the time to start it than we should continue with his for sure. Why dont you have him get on after school and move it on up and I will have Michael after school follow up!!
