I have a Dave too! Hmmmmmmm!

Busy day today--costume party tonight, :woohoo: so I'm headed right now to Target (thank goodness we have one ten minutes away) for some last minute costume additions. Whole family is going (except probably my 16 year old, 'cause his crowd isn't there) so should be fun. But why is it that for once I'm having a good hair day and my costume requires a wig? :sad2: I have curly hair, so you all probably won't see a good hair day in the caribbean--humidity + curls = wild hair! :rotfl2:

Of course, the afternoon is devoted to kids' sports activities! :cheer2:

I thought the Castaway Club gifts looked good too-we can hope... pixiedust:

Hope you all have a great day! :sunny:

I think cruise and good hair day are mutually exclusive! I know they are for me. My hair is curly, sometimes. Only when it wants to be :rotfl2: . I bring the dryer just in case.

Sherrena, it looks like Jen's stepdad is a Dave, my DH is one, Angela's DH, Thistle's DH and your DH! My gosh, we will need something, otherwise anytime someone yells "Dave" we will have at least two or three answering! And you guys, the fabulusks and my family are all at late dinner! Were you guys wanting to tie seating together so we can at least sit near each other at dinner? If so, let magiroux know. She is in charge of tie-ing together ressies for those of us on late dining so that anyone who wants to be seated in the same section can be. That goes for you guys too, Angela!

Morning all,
I don't have a Dave I have a Billie...Sounds like I'm talking about a pet!! :rotfl2: I have ,I dont have ..I wonder what they would think if they new we were refering to them as have and don't have like a peice of furniture, lol... :) ...well after 26 years guess I can put him in that catagory, after all I do love my furniture

So on the signs who is using Matt magnetic paper and Who is using Glossy..any idea what one may look better????I got Matt. Than lookesd on my frig. and saw that some of my Magnets were Matt and others glossy.OOOOO "Decisions, Decisions".

My brain is getting so tiered of thinking about this trip...seems all I do, and the closer it gets the more anxiety I get. Like if I blink I will forget something.Thank god this is not my first cruise I may be in the hospital by know from sheer excitement

I did not sleep well last night, and feel sooo tiered and have lots to do...I am all for being cloned!!! I would have my clones clean my house, cook my meals,do that never ending laundry(that is so over rated) and I could just spend time with my family and play on the comp. Poor clones!!!! but whats a woman to do :confused3

Jen are you with us or are you in a sleep Funk(I know what it looks like and thats not what I said  ) Did you sleep much last night!!!!

Robin :sunny:

yawn..morning all! just woke up...went to bed round 5:30 am lol

Well off to football...

Jen good luck waking up

And everybody have a blessed day!!!!

See ya later,I need to jet.... :moped:

Robin :)

Slow day for me. DH went diving this morning. I had expected him home by now so I could take DM shopping (she wants new jeans). I called him but he isn't answering his phone, grrrrrrr. I am NOT happy.

No Halloween parties for us so I don't need a costume. I saw some great boots at Sears last night, looked a lot like pirate boots, but WAY too narrow for my wide feet :( . If I could find some I'd get them and bring them to wear with my t-shirt on pirate night. No costume, but at least a little bit of a pirate look. pirate:  my Captain Jack!

Hey Everyone!

Just got back from the PSAT's and they were so-so. English and Writing was easy for the most part but I felt like I knew none of the math :( hate math! I guess we will see. Nothing else excited planned here for today. Beautiful weather, 78 and not a cloud in the sky. Finishing our excursion plans today

(from Lexi) I totally understand about the PSATs. I took mine on Wednesday. I agree that the writing/reading/grammar part was pretty easy, but the math made me feel exceedingly dumb. I kept thinking, "I should know how to do this, I learned how to do this, why can I not remember how to do this???"

(from Lexi) Sorry, I didn't know how to do the quote thingy...but I figured it out, now that I already posted it wrong. Oh well, I got it figured out now.

Math rocks..i only got a 700 on the english and 750 in writing on the SATS...math was 800...

Jen--those are some wild SAT scores-!!

High schoolers, my 16 year old isn't here to speak for himself, but he also took the PSAT on Wednesday. He told me it didn't seem very hard, but that sometimes you can be surprised when you get the scores back.... He didn't say anything about the math part in particular, but that is always his hardest subject.

I am SOOOOOO happy because the 14 year olds finished their tennis season today. :woohoo: It's been my turn as coordinator (you know, setting who plays, making sure everyone gets where, planning snacks, etc.) I'm now FREE! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Well, sorta. DH is at LaCrosse practice with same son, and when they get home it will be time for our party. We never did Halloween parties either, but then this crazy neighbor moved in who likes to decorate for Halloween and always has a party with families. It's absolute mayhem, but it's fun. This year we are doing pirates, well, you know, so we can re-use stuff on the trip! DS 10, dad and I are all dressing, DS16 isn't going and DS14 is going but not dressing. :smooth: I at least got him to agree to wear an orange shirt (clearance for $2.98 at Target) with his black shorts, so he will have made SOME effort.

Well, the cookies I'm baking to take are beeping, so I'm out--talk to y'all soon! :wave2:
