Thanks for all the advice :) Steve has nothing on his record other than a few driving tickets for speeding...lol...

I think the best white wine I ever had was a Washington white. Just wish I could remember what it was. That was about 20 years ago, though!

Yeah, I bet the kids would love to have ice cream for dinner! :lmao:

My niece is only 9 so there better not be any of "those" problems yet!!! The other one is 12 and I don't think there are any there either!

Spring break?????????

lol told you I had a brain disorder...ment Fall Break...We have off 2 weeks in Oct, 2 weeks off in Dec, 2 weeks off in april, 5 days off Thanksgiving, 2 months off for summer and all the holidays and confrences in between. No wonder I'm confussed there never in school! :confused3

Jen--that's a good start! :lmao:

Kat--thanks for the sign--I got it and it's awesome!

I'm thinking I will need a new battery tomorrow, but the whole car is only one year old. Unfortunately I will have to deal with it all again tomorrow, because I couldn't think of any place to sell me a battery at 7:30 at night anywhere near where I was. Also, since DH is somewhere between San Diego and Irvine and of no help this evening and I had taken DS to a guitar lesson, nobody had any dinner yet! Two were home waiting for us to get home. Wish I had thought of the ice cream idea! :hyper2: I am thinking about the wine idea! :drinking1 So I'm backed into the driveway to make it easier for whomever will probably have to pull up and jump start me in the morning, and I guess I will then drive directly to whomever answers their phone in the morning with the good news that they have the right battery for me.

At least it is :sunny: tomorrow morning, 'cause it would be a long 1/4 mile hike to the bus stop in the rain! (Especially since the boys don't do umbrellas!) :cool2:

Washingtonians don't do umbrellas either. And they were sandals with socks and shorts with sweatshirts all year long. :cool1: Yes, we are soooo cool.

Glass two is coming up soon. It might be ice cream for one - forget the calerie counting - my 14 year old said he was making himself ramen and then his sister conned him into feeding her too. This is one of those rare times it's nice to have teenagers.

Susan

did you figure out that I have two signons??? Jen I might need your help to get to one or just leave the one at school and the one at home. :wave2:

What brings your DH out this way...don't you live in Georgia? :confused3
As I type and yell to my son...come on lets study Math and he says...I don't want to...and so I bribe him with a "Butterfinger candy bar" lol

If you can think what it was or just who made it I might just smuggle you on a bottle. We are flying in the night before on Disney.

I have always done all the transportation myself separately, this is the first time we are letting Disney do it all... anyone done that before???

Susan

Susan, I can't stand it--I'm thinking y'all WEAR sandals with socks--not WERE! (See post 9164 ) :rotfl2: :lmao: ( Sorry, but I've always enjoyed correcting teachers, they had their turn with me. ;)

Robin, we do live in Georgia, that's why he is worthless to me in this "time of crisis" He is in California on business. Orange County and San Diego, working with Home Depot and Cox Communications, both based in Atlanta but with stuff out there too.

Susan, I'm thinking you should have that second glass of wine--and I'll join you from here! Cheers, :drinking1 and goodnight everyone-- :wave2:

Not so odd, he's in telecom--these are big internet/cable users. He helps you have Cox in your house! (They really need to change the name of that company!) :lmao: :rotfl2:

Night again, this time for real. :wave2:

Okay Robin, that Cox is spelled differently..

:drinking1

I am only staying on until Top Model comes on... I'm actually home and I don't need to Tivo (and then erase) my TV shows I like. Then I am showing the rest of my movie "Newsies" in History class so I can monitor conversations on line at my desk. It's history...strikes, child labor, etc...

Susan

Hi everyone. I am the other adult half of the PalatkaCruisers. I have just been lurking my dh has been posting. I haven't seen any girls age 7 in our group yet. Have I missed them? DD is 7 and I was hoping we could find another 7 yr old girl that she could meet and maybe bond with, go to the club with etc. I know we have some 8 yr old girls, but they will be going the the lab. :sad2: When we went on the last 10 day Xmas cruise she only went to the club twice. :sad2: Was kinda hoping we could get her to go alittle more this time if she had a friend. :woohoo:

Thanks...Laura
