yes poor poor me...luckily my mom has her lawyer already working on finding out where to get me a lawyer since you can't practice law outside your state (just like medicine)

I can help with the sending of a package. Since I live in a rural area with rural post offices you can send it in care of the local post office to be picked up by you when you get there. People do that all the time. Especially people that travel in motorhomes and all. No home base just send c/o Post office for general delievery when you arrive.

Ya know Susan, I never even thought of that. Thanks :thumbsup2 I called the UPS Store and they said the pkg had to be picked up within 7 days, but they would try to contact you upon arrival. If you could not be gotten hold of they could send the pkg back immediately. Since I would be in the middle of the Atlantic or S Carrabean that may be a problem

I will look into that option tomorrow. I know I will need warmer clothes for FL, along with supplies for my timeshare stay and I certainly don't feel like lugging that extra luggage with the cruise.

No wonder we didn't hear from you all day.. recovering.. if it was me I'd still be crying.

oh i still am tearing up...thing is...the lawyer said that was an unjust charge...only people who mouth off to the cops usually get that...i was very polite and didn't speak unless spoken too..and then it was Yes sir no sir.

Not officially, just out the window at home and at the beach.
That's pretty much what we do, too, but COrnell University does this "Project Feeder Watch" where they ask people to count the different birds they see at their feeders.

Where in GA do you live?

Good for you Jen. People don't understand how dangerous it can be for a policeman/woman to do a routine traffic stop. Any confrontation or argument makes a bad situation worse. It is best to accept your ticket (whether right or wrong) and fight it in court. Good for you to use your smarts, Jen.

Wonder why he picked on you...

I'm too scared to be nasty to a cop...I'm always thinking, omigosh....whaddid I do????

Jen- you would be so proud of me. Got the bouncing x-mas working and I got a countdown on and then my husband fiddled... but that's okay

good job!!

I know in Mass driving 20MPH over the posted speed limit can be cited with Driving To Endanger. Is that what happened to you? If you don't want to get into it, I understand

Stepping out, time to go get settled in for the Wives! :happytv:

I get all quiet and upset. After 10 days in China last year i fell asleep and went off the road into a ditch in the rain. Cop just assumed I slipped off the windy road (where we live) I didn't enlighten him and never got a ticket...but I was plain scared.
