Ok so I'm a bad mommy. DD6 got sunburned. bummer. I applied the darn stuff...she just would not get out of the water or off of the boogie board her cousin got her.

Took my neice up to UCLA yesterday. That kid is riding the train back. We left at 9:30 and I did not get home until 5:00. I only spent an hour up there with her. Man I was beat. L.A. traffic.

Hot day expected today.Gotta get the laundry done before peak hours.

Its like its vacation or something.

So how much booze can we bring onto the ship?

I know I'm planning on buying the big glasses again and the wine package.

Who's planning a diet? I know I have 30 pounds hanging around I could do with out.

Just got back from the 6/10 7-night Eastern Cruise. I just booked this cruise today.

I am ordering silicon bracelets (around Oct - Nov) for anyone that's interested.

Diet????? Ummm..... I mean, yes, I will also be dropping that 30lbs I have been trying to get off for the last two years.

As far as booze, I am going to look into shipping down to the DCL warehouse a box of disposable X-Mas decorations with a couple of bottles of my fav wine and then maybe get some more on Key West. I'm afraid I got the evil eye last cruise when the bar bill came in, so I need to look at more frugal ways to indulge my bad habit . Why does DCL have to document everything so accurately .

Ok I have about another 50 lbs to go. Have gotten off at least 80 since January. I don't know if I will be able to do it. But I think I can get off at least another 20 by cruise time. My original goal was 50 lbs. Who knew what reasonable eating and exercise (swimming 3x a week for an hour and stationary bike for an hour 5x a week) would actually cause some weight loss.

Ok everyone but me. But now I know, so no excuses. Except that I did have a little set back with leg issue for the last 20 days. But I am back on the wagon now. I mean bike.

So fellow cruisers here is to looking less like Pumba and more like Timon.

LOVE your picture!!!!! Did you see him on/in Newsweek this week??? DROOOOOOOOOL!!! Verizon has POC pics you can download as wallpaper for your cellphone so I did! Then DH bought me the Jack Sparrow "action figure" they just got at Toys 'R' Us. He's so sweet (my DH, that is).

Well I have spent a lot of time the past few days on the Disneyland board, following the events of the POC movie premier. Yesterday was the official re-opening of the POC ride and it was reported that the line was 3 hours long as soon as the park opened. So I have been rethinking my touring strategy since that whole side of the park is going to be jammed up. We arrive this afternoon and I decided to avoid DL altogether today and just go to CA, then hit DL at opening tomorrow. The only character I plan to stand in line for this trip is Jack Sparrow; wish me luck getting a picture.

We leave in less than 2 hours so I guess I had better start getting ready and then try to pry the teenagers out of bed (Bryan and his friend). DD's alarm just went off so we will be fighting for the hot shower water.

I went to DL once when I was about 15. It was on the 4th of July and all I remeber is standing in line for about 2 1/2 hours for Space Mountain. Hope to get back there some day.

If you mean weather, Belle...I remember Key West was a cold day, but no rain. Then we had two sea days and once we sailed past Puerto Rico you could immediately feel the weather turn very tropical. We had glorious weather from past KW on. High 80's/low 90's on all the islands and perfect sunshine. CC Day was the only other day that was inclimate weather. It was very windy, rather cool and occasional sprinkles. I remember a nasty storm came in the night before and tore out all the shark nets so excursions were also cancelled. But, with 9 days of perfect weather, there were very few complaints about CC Day being less than perfect.

I packed a sweatshirt and a light jacket. All my dinner wear was summer outfits. This time we are going to WDW for the rest of the week, but I am staying at a condo with a washer/dryer, so I am still going to really try to hold off on too many winter clothes.

Belle, We brought sweatshirts (hoodies) and we were fine. Depends on where you are coming from I guess.

hello Bubbles, Yeah you'll be going to DL next Christmas baby if I have anything to do with it. The crouds are alot less in the winter. Still crowded but not as bad as summer. Besides who can pass up DL decked out for Christams? not me.

Ok so I went to Walmart yesterday to see giant displays of lunch boxes and backpacks....school just got out for kryminy sake. But they did have alot of Pirates 2 stuff.

My oldest only has 8 weeks of summer break. School starts again 8/23.

Off to bake at the playground. high 90's again.

hey I finally slayed the clothes monster completely! for a while that is. That monster is a hydra.

Yeah, lots of POC2 stuff out! DH bought me a Capt Jack Sparrow action figure the other day! He is in his box in my office at work, up on the shelf where I can look at him! And I recently put a Jolly Roger on our flag pole at home below the US flag.
