Yeah, I've heard all about it; I think I'm glad I missed that one. :lmao:

I guess we will all be safe since the usual supects won't be joining you this year. It doesn't sound like you will get any guys from this current group to participate. :sad2: :rotfl:

I guess you haven't meet my husband. :dancer:

Hi everybody. Welcome Belle!

Hey Denise - are you planning any days at Disneyland next week? I will be there Tuesday afternoon through Friday night. Taking Bryan and his best friend (who has never been except for one afternoon) and DD (Lisa-23).

It is supposed to be in the 90's this weekend so I guess we get to have summer this year (some years we only get a couple weeks in August).

We are in the middle of torrential rains and lots of thunder right now. I am just waiting for the power to go out! Tornado warnings north of us. Ah, summer in Indiana!

Anyone going to WDW somewhere around 8/29-9/5??? Keith and I will be there!

bad storms here today. leave on sat. for a week in Bonaire (dive island). should be exciting.

Praise the Mickey. We will need to hook up and make the kids an offer that they can't refuse. :dance3:

This trip I will need to pack less. When I tried to come aboard the last one, they said my luggage or my husband. Well needless to say, I did get my husband back after the Mickey police carted him away. Hey! Luggage to a women is very important. :teacher:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yeah, that would be a tough choice for me as well. :rotfl:

I have actually never packed for this long of a trip before - 12 days total. Plus with all the dinner attire and not wanting to wear the same things every time; and is it two formal nights and one semi-formal or vice-versa, or two of each, or ???? I plan to do laundry once but don't want to have to do it more than that if possible. Good thing DD isn't coming or we would need a separate cabin for her clothes.

Also, BYOI - Bring Your Own Iron

Garry, sure....we are having our neighborhood rummage during the day so I will be home. Maybe we can all get together in Indy for dinner on Saturday then??? Do you have my cell number still??

I've never brought my own since they aren't allowed in the staterooms. I am tempted to just send my stuff out for ironing rather than use their nasty ones or add more weight to my luggage. It is bad enough packing stuff for this long (though I AM going to do laundry and try to mix and match clothes to reduce the amount of stuff we bring) without adding extras :bitelip:

DH has one large suitcase just for his dive gear! Plus we are coming down the night before so we will have that and it is December and we are coming from Indiana so we will have coats too! Ugh.

Our secret, I brought mine. It was handy.

They really frown on that as it is a fire hazard. If I did bring a travel iron I would only use it in the laundry room but I just don't want to haul it around. Just lazy, I guess :smooth:

well...i am off for a week in Bonaire. A week on non-stop diving. lol. Talk to ya all when i get back.:cheer2:
