I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you all this trip, I wonder how people of the shorter cruises get a chance to do anything, we were running almost constantly. I didn't get Lisa's message about the dis pirate picture until after it was over

Oh well, maybe next time we'll get a chance to meet everyone. I hope you all had as great a time as we did

The weather was dreary today but it matched my mood to leave, I felt bad for the people starting the cruise today, no party up top probably.

It was nice meeting all the Diser's I got to meet... sorry wasn't able to spend more time with you all, but it was great getting to meet as many of you as possible. It's amazing how fast one week goes, and how busy you find yourself! I also can't believe how fabulous the weather was for us!

Hi all! We made it back home, finally! We didn't get to our house until 5am Denver time. We had to wait in Orlando for a new airplane since there was some sort of computer glitch in ours. We didn't take off until around 1am or so. Boy are we tired! It is really cold again today. It was 9 degrees on the ride home this morning.
It was great meeting everyone that I did!!!! For any of you that took picture of the pirate group could you post it please when you get a chance. I never did find the one in Shutters.

HAHA. I'm not the only one I see. I did'nt have any motion sickness onboard, but last night I felt terrible! I don't remember it being this bad or lasting this long on my previous cruises.

Anyone book another cruise while onboard? We didn't, but I am pretty sure we are going to take an anniversary cruise (just the two of us) on the 11/04/06 sailing. I can't wait!

40 to go!!! I finally sat down after re-thinking my packing, making a door sign with my scrapbook stuff (forgot I had it ) and doing one last order. We can do 3000!!!

Talk about last minute Drama. We have 13 going together, and my brother-in-law just figured out that his passport has expired. Just use a birth certificate and drivers license, right? Not so fast. He was born in Canada but has a US drivers license. Immigration says he can't get on the boat with documents from different governments. So he made an appointment for 11:30am tomorrow at the Miami, FL passport office to get same day service on a new passport. Well we are a 12 hour drive form Miami, so he is leaving as we speak to drive all night to get his passport.

Ok, I think you have me beat. We just forgot DS's birth certificate, and Mom and Dad's passports. Fortunately, wonderful MIL and FIL went down to the county to get DS's birth certificate, and worked with the bank my parents are at to get the passports (they were in my parents' safe deposit box!). It was a lot of hoop jumping (my parents working with B of A in Celebration, FL, and my MIL working with the branch at home) in order to get notarized copies of letters giving power of attorney to open the boxes and get the passports out). It was a lot to do but finally we got everyone's paperwork in tact. Otherwise, mom, dad and DS would have had a lovely week in WDW while the rest of us were on the ship.

It was a crazy week but thankfully we were able to get everything resolved. Thanks Tink for the dust! and DISers for the good wishes!

Yeah, it was hard to coordinate the meets what with 3 yo DD and 5 mo DS and 2 sets of parents and the wandering vagabond known as Jordan (hee hee) - many times it was not at a convenient time to get everyone up to wherever the group was... so Jordan served as a spokesperson for the rest of us since he was free as a bird for the most part... ha ha.

Hope you all had a great time! Next time kids will be older and hopefully we will be enjoying some extra free time for ourselves...

Totally - and everytime I'm standing still, or sitting still, or laying down... however I don't mind because it just makes me feel like I'm still on the ship... ahhhh.

BTW, saw your kids on the Golden Mickeys night in the "live" intros... very cute and in the adorable matching Cinderella dress in the photos with Cinderella afterwards. Looked like they were having a ball!

Hey Jordan! Not all of us will be on the 12/09 trip so you have to post here every once in awhile. Sorry you were all by yourself last night. I don't think everyone is home yet and I was asleep. We didn't get home until 5am yesterday and I only slept until about 8:45 so I was exhausted. The rest of the day I walked around my "rocking" house and was on the kids to get homework done. Rachel got all of hers done, but Jacob didn't get completely finished. I am not too worried about it. I think 60+ pages of homework for a 2nd grader is a little much. We probably have about 10 more to go. We will just do a couple extra every day until he is done. Gotta go, I have to leave for work in 20 min.

Thanks! They also got up on stage with Snow White during the show. That was a treat!

My DD's dress was TOTALLY inspired by Lisa's photo in her siggy. I bought it in downtown's garment district for $29.00.

If anyone was on this cruise last year, did you notice that the person that played Aurora during this year's Character Meet & Greet did not perform at all this year? Last year she was Cruella, one of the muses, the Little Mermaid, Belle and a couple of more other roles. I remember her because DD thought she was very pretty. I wonder why with singing/dancing talent like hers, she was not performing.

I remember last year there was a Disboard user named "howdill" that claimed he was her father and asked all the recent Magic cruisers to upload any photos of her because he missed his little girl. He also claimed he cannot contact her for personnel reasons and he was going to surprise her but wanted to keep up with what she looked like. It was, IMO, scary because many people took his word while I thought it could be someone obsessed with her. I even PM a few users including a Mod saying that this guy may not be who he said he is. Afterall, he could be anyone. Am I paranoid??

Anyway, I LOVED Twice Charmed. I loved the Golden Mickeys. But I didn't care for Disney Dreams the second time around. Watched Narnia, loved it. Didn't like CC the first time but this time it was great. Went bike riding and joked that a talking beaver may jump out. Water and weather was perfect!

I'm sorry we didn't connect too well with the meets. Our schedule w/o kids just seemed to be different - and I slept through the wine and cheese

What a wonderful trip! I can't think of anything I'd rather do! Joined DVC, so we should be going more often!
