12/10/05 ~ Anyone else cruising.....??

I've been hooked on Prison Break, Commander In Chief and The Apprentice this season. Lisa, I think the 12/8 episode will be an hour of the task while the 12/15 episode is the Live Finale.

It's yucky here in So Cal today...PayPal reversed a payment they gave me for a buyer with bad funds. Then my office at my part time job got burglarized. I'm wondering what will be next as these things happen in 3s.

I was going to DL to pick up autograph books today but it looks like rain soon.

Here's some of the things I am planning on doing on the cruise.

See: Chicken Little and Narnia. Flight Plan if there's time.
Spa: 2 treatments for sure
Diversions: Watch some football
Pool: Try and get a darker shade of white
Palo: 1 dinner and hopefully a brunch
Excursions: St John Tour
CC: Serenity Bay

what spa treatments Jordan?

I realized while packing that both my fancy dresses are black, no biggie I guess but I would love something with a little color!

We are getting our tree tonight! Yippeee skippeee!!! I figure we might as well get it tonight since I will be stuck home I need something to do other than clean!

Jen, I just looked at the TV Guide for next week & there is no Apprentice on 12/8 at all. :( In the past they have had the live show right after the final task so who knows what they will do. There is nothing online nbc.com either. Now I have to get some work done. The pile of scrap that I have to use for a computer at the school wasted 4 hours this morning. ARGGG!!! :(

I would love to see Narnia - do you think it is going to be very scary? I mean compared to like the Harry Potter movies....

Wow, no Apprentice for 12/8....I'll be going thru withdrawals.

I just blurted out loud that I need to clean the house before we go on the cruise next week and DD7 just asked if we "can buy a balcony this time". DS5 asked if there will be pirates...he meant the recent pirate attack in the Nigerian/Kenya Sea. Unfortunately, kids overheard DH and me talking about how crazy that was.

As for movies, I am planning to see Narnia. We saw Chicken Little and IMO, that is a ONE time movie for me. The kids liked it but it didn't appeal to me.

Okay, I really have to clean the house. After the burglary last night at my office, I am afraid for my own house now.

Jordan, we hope to do St John tour also. I need to go on line and book it. We had thought about doing St. John on our own, but have reconsidered due to time. If we are on a Disney excursion we will not have to worry about getting back to the ship in time. Let them do the worrying. :sunny:

Jordan, we have reservations for brunch and would be happy to have you join us, if you want. Forget which day, but it is on the web page. Our ressies are for 4 and there are now only 2 of us.

Just to bring you back to reality as it is in the great white north Vanessa . . .

I am in Cleveland for negotiations, and out the window it is snowing heavily, we have already had about four inches, and I am beginning to wonder how long my normal hour drive South will be . . .

The only one of those shows that we normally watch is extreme home, and my little Sophia loves Ty too!

John

We were told we would have snow Wednesday, but got a reprieve and only had our usual rain. :umbrella: I was very glad because Oregonians (at least in the Portland area where it does not snow often) do NOT know how to drive in it and it take hours to get to or from work. :hourglass I just did not have time to deal with it this week. Weather reports look good now until we leave. :)

I like Ty too, he's a cutie! ;)

I don't think that Narnia will be as scarey as the Harry Potter movies. The clips that I have seen of it are incredible! Both kids like...no LOVE...the HP movies so I don't think that they will have a problem with it. Heck, DH took DD3 to POC on our first cruise thinking that she would go to sleep for her nap. Did she? Nope! She kept saying Neato & Cool during the show. LOL! She did that for HP2 also. They came home from the movie that night & she stayed up with me since DH was tired. We ended up watching HP1. She was so excited & couldn't wait to tell DS all about it. :) We haven't seen HP4...and probably wont in the theater. I have been told that there are a few darker scenes in it that might take more explaining for them. DS & I are down to the last two chapters on book one. We have enjoyed it. He likes to point out the things that didn't happen in the movie. I think that he will be ok with 4 once we read the book but I wont read them out of order. We may just have to buy it in 6 months & watch it without them first.

Both kids enjoy watching EHM here too. DS asks us if we can do something like that almost every week. :)

ACK!!! I just printed up one of our door magnets only to discover that the colored ink is lacking in the dark colors. :( This one doesn't look too good. I guess that I need to run out to Staples when DH gets home to pick up another pack. It seems like they always run out when we are getting ready for the cruise!

:rotfl: :rotfl: It would be nice if we could all do something like that every week. Your son has obviously been taught to care about others. :goodvibes

Okay, I feel bad now. I have been up in the bedroom for the past couple of hours getting clothes together and actually putting them in the suitcases. Max(our dog) was downstairs sleeping or something, he came up a few minutes ago and sniffed all around the suitcases and now he is upset. He kept jumping up on me and when I sat down on the couch to pet him he jumped up in my lap (keep in mind he weighs 65 lbs). Poor puppy...... :guilty:

My clothes are packed, except for the formal stuff, my underwear and toiletries. Yikes! It could be a disaster if I forget to throw in the undies and deoderant! :rotfl2: :rotfl: This a a sight we do not want to picture. :rotfl2:
