12/10/05 ~ Anyone else cruising.....??

:rotfl: :rotfl: It would be nice if we could all do something like that every week. Your son has obviously been taught to care about others. :goodvibes

:goodvibes I guess I didn't write that out well. He is a sweet boy & does care about others but his requests are purely selfish. :teeth: He wants some of the cool bedrooms that they do for the kids for himself.

We had a dog named Max once....he was NOT a good puppy though. A friend bought us a book titled "Why Do Bad Dogs Happen to Good People?" :confused3

Now THAT is funny. I want one of those cool bedrooms too! :rotfl2:

I have most of it packed now. I still need the undies and toiletries too. I also haven't packed the shoes yet or jewelry (I have two parties to go to this weekend). I need to get some jeans together too. I am waiting on those to see what the weather forcast is in a few days. Brad says he will wear shorts even if it is in the 50s, but he doesn't do that here so I don't see it happening there.

I'm off to shower now so I am not late for my hair cut appointment. Will check in later today. Have a great one! :sunny:

That is what I thought you meant with your post. WHen I saw what Angie wrote I felt bad for thinking he was wanting the cool rooms. Good to know he is just like my kids.... ;)

LOL! I think he will get along great with your DS. He can't wait to meet his email buddy. :)

I honestly don't see how I am going to get everything done. Most of the gifts are wrapped but the stocking stuffers still need to be done. I can't find two of the princess dolls. :( IDK where DH put the box...if it is even still in the garage. I called him & he is going to look for it when he gets home. The family room is destroyed & the laundry is SOOOO backed up. DS is going on his first sleep over tonight. IDK if he will call for a pick up or not.

It is all a bit overwhelming. I still have housecleaning that I really want to get done, but it will probably wait until Tuesday. I have some more to wrap, but now I have all of the suitcases all over the bedroom, so I have lost my wrapping area.

I hope William does well at his sleepover. Jacob has been on a few to two different kids houses and he does fine, but one of the boys that came over here had to call to be picked up at bedtime. I guess he just wasn't ready yet. I just remember that I have to get the kids things together to spend the night at their aunt's house tonight. THey are watching the kids while we go to Brad's office party at the Museum of Nature and Science. They decided that they might as well spend the night and that way it won't be as long of a night for them. Too bad I have to work tomorrow......

I wonder who is lurking for the big 2500....

I can't even think about packing till after this weekend. Way to much going on Christmas-wise. Stress management :cool1:

I'm lurking for it, but I have to leave in 10 min to get the kids from school. It will probably happen then.
DISDAWG.... I may have missed it earlier, but is the DAWG for the Georgia Bulldogs? My sis in law is a huge fan. That is the only sports she will watch.

Yes it is, we live in Bulldog country! Go Dawgs!

but i know you were asking me a question just to get me to respond so you can respond and get closer to the big one in the next 10 minutes! :earseek:

That is not entirely true. ;) I was just thinking about it and the fact that you haven't been on this thread long and so I don't know you very well. WHere are you from in GA? My sis in law grew up in Valdosta.

Athens, Georgia. Home of the University of Georgia. And yes, we booked the cruise only about a month ago. It was a fluke actually, we were planning to go next April, but it got moved up. I'm terribly disappointed :rotfl2:

When I was in high school and living in Tennessee we had a band come up from I believe it was Athens for some sort of competion and a couple of the girls stayed with us.

I have a couple of loads of laundry going. I have decided I am just not going to stress about Christmas until we get back. We will have 2 weeks and can get it all in, I am sure. :rolleyes1

I have a half hour before I have to go get a haircut. Think we can hit the big 2500 by then? Jordan, are you lurking? :teeth:

We are getting very excited for the USC/UCLA game tomorrow. :cheer2: It should be really good. :cheer2: I don't know if I will be able to sit and watch if it is close. I have been known to go to the computer and play scrabble, listening for DH to yell and then run to the TV. :rotfl2: I think I take this way to seriously. :cheer2:
