I wish they made a princess autograph book that didn't hold the pictures. They have that blue Mickey one which holds tons of autographs but those ones that holds photos hardly hold any...we have filled up quite a few. I am in competition with my sister to see who can get the most total and most unique Disney autographs....I am winning! Although since she has the "autograph training book" I am going to have to question the validity of hers...maybe I should make sure she has photos with each as well.

We will be heading to Gainesville tomorrow for the game...will be a late night! But hopefully a win.....

I booked a Spa treatment on-line, I think you can do most of them on-line now. DH and I are throwing mud at one another for the fun of it Actually, it is the Resul treatment and we booked it a day we're at sea. I can't wait to have some quiet time alone.

We should be getting our docs soon. I guess ours are going to our TA and then she'll look them over and give them to us. I can't wait!! I am looking forward to this trip. I just need to get ahead of myself at work and train someone to take over for me while I am gone. If someone can do some of my work next month for me I won't be hitting the streets running when we get off the plane.

Oh well, I am still looking forward to it. I'll worry about Compliance when I get home.

Jordan, sorry I was not around to help you out. I tried when the boards were down, then got distracted with wifely stuff (laundry, etc) and DGS beat me to the computer so I did not get back on. Dern kids! Anyhow, good job on grabbing the post .
I had to get the laundry done last night because we are heading up to Spokane, WA today. We have a very sick grand-nephew there. He has some virus that is causing pneumonia. They have not been able to figure out what it is. They have ruled out all the bacterial infections though because none of the cultures are growing anything. His mom is a very special niece to us, well all our nieces and nephews are special, but this one and her DH are very close to us. So, we head out today to spend the weekend giving them hugs and whatever support we can. He has been sick since Oct 21, lifeflighted from their hometown to Spokane on the 25th. Lots of prayers and pixie dust for him would be appreciated. His name is Mason.

We will, of course, take the laptop so I will not go into DIS withdrawal.

I don't expect docs for about a month. We never get ours more than a week out...which isn't good when we plan to do WDW the week prior to the cruise.

Golly, I hope we get our docs before the week before or else our TA will be FEDEXing them to us in WDW.

Our prayers are with Mason. There is nothing that can make you feel as helpless as a child that is ill . . .

We usually get our docs 2-3 weeks from date of sailing - have never gotten them quite this early, but they should be here soon! I almost have to pinch myself to believe how fast it is now approaching. Both Amy and I really need this vacation, it has been a stressful and challenging year.

This is also my last weekend before our election, and I'll find out on Tuesday if our community still wants me on the Board of Education. Then the following week I'll have our state school board conference in Columbus.

I have also been in negotiations on our union contract - it would usually be long done by now, but this year has been especially difficult. We have already met with our union for nearly 30 days since September, and are still not done!

Good luck John! We really need this vacation too. I just found out today that DH may do his internships back to back in DC....4 months! They want him to start in January. OY!

Thanks for the good wishes. Assuming I get elected next week, I will be in DC in February with the National School Boards Association for the annual Federal Relations Network. I am the school board representative for the 16th Congressional district of Ohio, and travel to DC yearly to lobby Congress and our Congressman on public education issues.

Maybe Mike and I could meet up for dinner some time? I don't think Amy will be going along with me this time.
