Morning everyone! We are in the home stretch. All having a bite to eat before the kids get dressed and then we are out the door. We are leaving about 4 hours before our flight leaves, but with the weather you never know how long it will take. Besides when we went to DC in the spring someone (DH) didn't want to leave as early as I did and we missed the plane! That ain't happening today!

The kids are all sad leaving Max. He just keeps following us all around. Poor puppy.

I still feel like I have a ton of stuff to do. We called John's parents last night and they are going to come feed Gator and get our mail etc. With all the stuff I have packed I was looking and it is like I have nothing to wear....I need a couple versatile shirts and maybe a pair of jeans and khakis....

The shuttles will just drop you off on the curb outside the terminal gates. You will wait in line outside until they open the door. The porters will take your bags.

Lisa - that's funny - I was going to pick up some jeans today too! Seems I spend all my money on the girls' clothes.

Well, it was meant to be! I went into Target & found some jeans...then I saw one size on the clearance rack. MINE! They fit well so I got them all. It is so strange because I usually can't find any that fit in the stores here. I have gotten them at the thrift stores around here to get better ones but I just do NOT have the time for that right now.

great find on the jeans! I am headed to Burdine's (well Macy's now) on my lunch - they always have awesome sale racks! Hopefully I can find something!

I only have a couple more entries to make at work and I am not reconciling any accounts til I get back! Yippee!!

Good luck finding what you need! Good grief! I am going thru all of the little things that I have been putting away for this cruise. They sure end up taking up alot of space!

It is so hard to clear off these memory cards. I need the space though for lots of new pictures...and they are all on HD, CD, & snapfish. I am putting address labels on the ones that we have bought since our last trip. Make it as easy as possible for someone to return things to you, KWIM?

What do you clear off? Download? SOrry I am new to this digital thing. I just formatted two and hope those will be enough for our trip!

The old pictures. I usually don't clean up the disks until we need them for a big trip. We have a total of 2.5 Gigs of SD cards for the main camera & 192 MBs for the backup. Now that we can take video clips, I wanted to make sure that we had plenty of room. I wish that I had another Gig though!

Now HOW did DD get so many hair things?!?!? I have put them all in a ziplock bag to pack since I just can't decide which one we will use for each outfit.

Since I have been reading about your name tags, door signs, etc. I feel like we are going to be left out - don't have time to worry about it too much. Went to Home Depot and got some "Mickey Ears" from the paint dept. Some Magnet tape - for the door.

I got some lime green ones for name tags - if you have time, lisa, could you email them to me? I looked at the web, can't find them - If you don't have time, that's okay too.

I think I have 3 gallon sized ziplocks with Samantha and Haley's hairbows!!

I went and found a pair of jeans, two capris and two tops. They had an AWESOME formal dress which was marked down to $55 it was a deep turquiose, criss crossed in the front and had criss crossed low back....if I didn't have that darn "fat back" back there I would have taken it.... so just plain ole balck for me. Now DH wants me to get him a tux rental. How late can I do that? I threw out the paper that came with the docs.

You know how when you are trying to get your errands done, things happen?

First, I had a lengthy phone call from someone needing help with something.

Then, my DILs mom broke her arm, and my DS called to ask if I could watch the baby - he had a final. I took him with me on errands.

When I got him into the car after home depot, he had lost a shoe. I didn't see it anywhere, so went back in the store, carrying him all around - he's getting very heavy - couldn't find it - had a long talk with a clerk about calling me if someone turned it in - put him back in the car and the shoe was
under his seat!

Maybe I'll get to finish tomorrow before we leave????
