Once you get the hang of it, the pole thing really works great. Much better than putting up a ladder, having it sink in the mulch, and having to move it every step of the way. I'm not too fond of climbing either. The clips screw into the pole, and then you snap them on the gutter and unscrew the pole. They then have a clp to hold the light wire that you can lift up and place with another attachment on the pole. I put all the clips on first, and then strung the lights. It was much easier than me looking like Clark Griswold climbing on the ladder.
The pole with the attachement is real handy for putting lights up on high trees too, and also for hanging ornaments on the top of the tree. I really used it a lot.
Lisa, what can I bribe you with so I don't tell Mike??? Remember last year, I looked like the odd one, with the pirate scarf, ear ring and patch. Do you think people are dressing up more now that it has become more of a regular thing?
