12/10/05 ~ Anyone else cruising.....??

Well, I don't think I'm going to get any Christmas decorations out before we leave, so we all know what I'll be doing when I get home...Yep, freezing my butt off while I put out decorations :)

Oh yeah, while I was checking our docs I notice that my youngest DD has her own package. I don't understand :)

Welcome Magicfor2! Congratulations on the 25 years! We are practically neighbors, well sort of, we live up in Newberg. Are you flying out of PDX? We leave on Tues Dec 6. One week from today! :Pinkbounc :earsgirl: :earsboy:

MAGICFOR2, here is our group's website info. Welcome!

Here is the post explaining how to get info on the group website. We are not posting it on this thread since it contains more personal info about our families. I will email the link back to you after receiving and adding your info to the site.

Welcome to the group!!! Here's the info on the website that I am updating for all the DISers cruising with us. There is one teen in the group waiting to hear from others cruising with us. Tinkerbellsmom, I think that DisneyDi sent me some info for you but there is some info missing.

This is for the DISers who are posting to this thread. Please have an adult in your group send the following & I will add it to the site & send you the link.

Family name:
Individual names & the children' ages cruising with you at the time of the cruise:
Celebration:
Stateroom:
Dining:
Hometown:
Pre Cruise: (date arriving in FL & where you will be staying Friday night)

A short note with where you work & what activities you like to do.

Please send a picture of your family to be included.

For those with children, please send an individual picture to be put on the DIS Kids page by age group so that the kids can get to know each other a little better. Let the kids tell the others their age, grade in school, favorite thing to eat on the ship, favorite Disney character, & their favorite activity on the ship.

My email is mandlgraves@cox.net

cruise cruise cruise!!!

Are we there yet????????????????????????????????????????????

ROFL!!! Not yet, Vanessa! :) I just checked online & they only have categories 4 & 5 with prices. There are no more GTYs in any category now. This ship is going to be full!!! :)

YES, VANESSA! Let's leave NOW! pirate: I've "hit the wall" at work and need out of here now!

wow - a full ship, I am not sure if that is good or not~~!!

Has anyone been to the 80's night activities? I was looking at photos in the live thread, did they bring the costumes/wigs on themselves?

I think folks are selected out of the audience for 80's night and then "dressed appropriately for the performance". My friend here at work said his wife got to participate in that show. Lots of fun. We are going to try to make it this trip.

I need to make a list of the things we want to do that we have not done on the last 6 cruises....80's night, pub night, bridge tour, martini tasting.....what else?

I saw a post somewhere that they give you 5 martinis and that it would be plenty for 2 to split. Does anyone know if you can do that? - split the martinis and only pay for one tasting? I don't think I would be able to stand up if I drank 5 martinis.....I have been called a cheap date! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

LOL! I have read that they supply everything for the costumes.

We have never gone to the clubs due to the smoke. I have considered it this time, but honestly those things do not get started until 10:45 or 11 pm. That is too late for us...especially when our day starts before 7 am.

We have sailed on a full ship & an almost full ship. You don't notice. I couldn't believe it when they said there were 750 kids ages 3-12 onboard for the first one.

The late hour is the reason we have never gone also. We are usually in bed by 11. Old fuddie duddies I guess. I would like to make it at least one night this time though.
