That's true. Those rates should be available by the first of the year so since we will already be use to having two cruises booked at a time...it shouldn't be a problem. LOL!

We have promised our DGS a 2008 cruise for his high school graduation. We will, of course, have to book one in 2007 just to keep in practice. :rotfl:

What a great grad gift!!! :) Our 10th anniversary will be in 2007 so I think that warrants a cruise too. It will probably be the first time we are on the ship when it isn't decorated for the holidays.

Hopping aboard! I think we will be joining you all on this cruise. This will be our first Disney cruise! The rates are killing me, but I will survive down in steerage I suppose! It will be myself (37), DH (40 something) and our dd's, ages 3 and 6 at that time!

So, is CC great enough to want to go twice?? Anyone been to Costa Maya? What is it like? Any golf at that port?

Off to try to read this thread!!

CC is one of the main reasons DH goes....

He loves the island and insists the he can only float on his back while in the water there.... :rotfl:

We missed CC on our Sept 04 cruise due to Hurricane damage there and he missed it so much we rebooked and went on another cruise in Dec 04. (We did make it that time.)

The x-mas themeing of the ship is great also, which is why we chose the Dec double CC cruise.

Jhalkias, MemoryMakers2669 Welcome!!!!!!! :sunny:

Is CC that great?????? Does Mickey have two ears?? Oh Ya it is great! I love playing with my kids out on the water play ground. Sipping a nice cold drink with my wife at the adults only beach. :drinking1 I cant wait to go back. We all get to do it TWO TIMES!!!!!!!

From what I remember with the cruises that went to CC twice last year the deals at CC were good for both days. If you paid for bike rental the first day...you got it the second too. That might be an incentive to get a bike & explore more than the family beach this time.

That's right, Lisa. The rentals have been good for both days in the past. We do enjoy the bike trail and getting to use it twice makes it a bargain.

Welcome MemoryMaker. We have not been to Costa Maya before, but it looks very nice. We are in "steerage" also. We always book inside stateroom. We spend so little time there and have found we have lots of other things to spend our $$ on. ;)

That is good to know. :) Do you just keep your reciept & show them the next time? Also, are the bike rentals by the hour? We are way below on deck 2 this time. It will be our first time not on deck 7. We are hoping to be moved though.

Thanks!!! And we have always had a large balcony cabin. Each one of our cruises we have had the corner aft cabins, which are regular balcony priced cabins, but the size of suites. So, going to such a small inside on a low deck will be a huge change. Just have to hope for an upgrade!

We too book inside staterooms. Our first cruise we had a verandah but rarely used it so the last four cruises we took "steerage". I like using the money saved for more Disney goodies. :goodvibes

I like the way you think, Brack! :)

BUMP! :Pinkbounc We were on the very last line of page two! Where is my crew? SpoiledBrat? Tarbender?

I just wanted to say to everyone. I have been reading but not taking the time to post, as I have been so busy with the boys summer stuff, almost forgot the swim lessons yesterday as I was busy. Anyway no big bumps or scrapes for a while. We head off to Yogi bear campground this friday for 3 days. It is death by chocolate weekend. They have candybar bingo, a hersheys chocolate (with a couple gallons of it) slip and slide for the kids. A pool, mimi golf, bumper boats ect. It is my friends daughters birthday and so we are having a party. Yogi will come and sing happy birthday ect. It will be fun I hthink. My DH has to work again this weekend as he did last weekend at my brothers new house. I feel bad for him, he had two days off for the 4th ( we went camping with my moms cousions) but he still had 42 hours in in the 3 days left in the week, they are just swamped right now. I didn't even get to see him yesterday as he had a firefighting meeting after he got off work last night and didn't get home tell after 9. Well maybe when summer is over we will get to spend some time together. If not I'll have to wait for two weeks next dec huh. Hoping to steal a weekend with him to go to the sandpoint fest. Talk to you later Mum of two pirates

It is crazy busy here too. Kids are out of school for the summer and I am spending my first one at home as a stay at home (really work at home) mom. And it's hard to get any work done, let me tell ya! I just got back from national conference (Pampered Chef) and the house was actually clean -- but nobody did any laundry or dishes so I have some work to catch up on, lol. We have about one more month before school starts, plus a trip to Disneyland next month, so that's going to keep me plenty busy. How will I ever find enough time to scrapbook!

And will somebody please tell me how I am going to manage to wait another year and a half before I hear that beautiful horn blowing in person!

I havent scrapbooked in ages, maybe a couple of pages in what almost two years now. When I fianally get the house cleaned I want to relax. Thinking about starting again, have more than enough stuff. Hope you find the time to get some done. I joined WW last tue and had my first weigh in today and I lost over 7lbs, just wanted to brag alittle. catch you later. Mum

I just started scrapping, been shopping and have some fun ideas. Doing a short book for my last cruise and will have been dragged into a swap on the scrapping board, lol. It will get me going. I want to have a better way of sharing the Disney magic then a online photo album or just 4x6 shots in a book. This is all in prep for the double dip.
