The last one, think not. I did do mine in feb, but I also just sent out last years 3 weeks ago. Hows that for late. I would have not even did eather one but DH wanted a new truck this spring so I broke down and did them. We get a refund and have 3 years to file becouse of it. I was going to wait and do them next spring and use the money for our trip to disney. So I will get next years thoe. well gotta go have a great weekend, Brenda

We did ours in Feb, already spent the refund. We don't get a lot back. We try to withhold pretty close to what we will owe. Would rather put the money in a savings account and get a little interest than let the Feds have it interest free all year.

DH will be doing DD's today though.

Good Luck Everyone, on your taxes!!

When i used to take students to Washington DC on School, trips I would point out the IRS building. I told them it was the most feared building in DC, lol.

Did my taxes back in early Feb. and used the refund to cover my, "When is the cruise going to get here, I can wait trip!" for this october. Here in the cold north, we have another 16 days before they are due, and my mother is dropping her's off at the PO on the day we leave for the F&G fest.

We need a little BUMP… I hope everyone is doing well. Summer is coming soon. What are you guys going to not miss on this next cruise? “Palo” for my wife and I. We had dinner there last cruise and it was very magical. My wife says the "spa". She missed it the last two times. On are fist cruise I painted in a small group. It was FREE that was a lot of fun. You can’t forget the sail away party. Talk with you all soon! :wave2:

We are definitely headed for Palo again this cruise. I want to experience everything!!! lol

2 years is just too long to wait... <sigh>....

Missed the midnight dessert buffet 2 times, have to go see it this time! Palo brunch is a must do, oh my oh my! I would like to do some the adult programs this time.

We always enjoy spending time in the Rainforest. Palo's is a must do for us also. We will do brunch and dinner and hope to get high tea in as well. Cove Cafe is my "happy place" now, so we will have to spend some time there also. Oh, and a hammock on CC. And all the shows in WDT. A movie possibly. Sessions to end the day. Ah.......

HI y'all! I haven't been "on the boards" for a while. I'm glad to see our thread is still going! My dh and I will NOT miss Palo Brunch. Definitely the BEST food on the cruise!

We like the brunch at Palo's but will not miss our regular dinner rotation to go. The food is as good as I want but it is the fellowship of our tablemates that we really love and do not want to miss. We still keep in touch with some of them years later.

This next cruise I plan to spend more time at night listening to the music of the clubs. We don't drink but really like all the music .... piano one night and a rocking band another.
:rockband:

We have not spent much time in the clubs at night, just Sessions. We need to try that this time also.

Our DD and her DH have told us they want to join us on this cruise also. The count is growing for our group. 11 of us now, I think. Nieces, nephews, sister, DD. Woo Hoo! With all those young adults with us I think we may actually visit the clubs this trip! We have 2 children with us so far, one girl Dallas who will be 13 and one boy, Lucas who will be 11. :Pinkbounc :grouphug: :Pinkbounc

MrsMork,
Good for you.
:sunny: We are working on four more. I think more friends the better. :cool1:

I agree, GoofyFD. Will make for fun cruise meets too. I am going to try to get them all hooked up on these boards before we go. There really is an amazing group of people on these boards. :grouphug:

Me(Melinda)& DH(Dean)will also be on the 12/09/06 cruise. This will be my 4th Disney cruise and Dean's 3rd. This will be our first Disney 7 day cruise but not our first time on the Magic. It should be a little different this time then in '99 when we had less than 2,000 onboard and the spa offered 1/2 price massages on port days to fill slots and on CC day only 3 couples on SB and within a few hours it was just us. Well i booked this cruise on my solo/mousefest cruise last Dec. My DH last words before i left was be GOOD(translation-don't buy any jewelry in Nassau and try to keep the bill low). I got off the ship and called him honey guess what i did and his response was Luuucy do you have some explaneing to do,yup i have a very expensive business card with a new cruise booked(would have spent less on a trinket). I still can't believe the next question out of his mouth was so do i get to come this time...duuhh as i've only gone solo cruising twice and that was due to his lack of having any vacation days. Things we won't miss Palos(Brunch, tea for me and of course dinner)massages for Dean, and Rasul treatment. I still can't believe that it's taken me this long to find this thread.
Here's to hoping the time flies by and i'll be following this thread.

Melinda

Welcome, Melinda! Our first cruise was in 99 also when they were still doing 3/4 with both ships. We were on the Magic for 4 days and it was only half full. It was definately a great experience! We have enjoyed all six cruises and each has been very different. Some with grandkids, some with grandkids and kids :grouphug: some just me and grandpa. :love2:

You really should! They often have some fun things going on. We especially like the 70's night, 80's night, etc. They have some dances, sketches, games, etc. We don't drink (well, dh might have one beer) and we've never had a problem with "drunks" or rowdy people in the club in the evenings.

Uhoh....wait...what if we ARE the rowdy people....well...we're not drunk anyway... :scared: :dancer:

Melinda,
We are glad you found us. We have lots of time to chat.
:rolleyes1

We will probably be "that rowdy group" this trip. Most of us have a drink or two, but no drunks. All the "kids" (ahem, we are the old folks) going with us are very fun loving. They do get us going too. :Pinkbounc  :bounce:

Do you remember how many passagers they had on your Disney '99 cruise? The reason i'm asking is our cruise was the last part of Oct. and it was only the second time(according to the Captain)they had less than 2,000 aboard. I'm pretty sure that we'll never see such light passenger counts again.
