Karen,
Were are the three hotels? Residence Inn sounds like a good deal.
Mark

They are all right at Cocoa Beach. The Residence Inn (when built) will be the closest to the port per Shirley. The other 2 look a little farther down from the Radisson.

Not sure if it is a full breakfast or not...they just say complimentary breakfast. I do know that during the week they offer complimentary social hour including heavy horsd'eurvs (I murdered that one I know)

I think I'm gonna stick with Residence.

Happy VDay everyone! It's been crazy here. After running to WM & the grocery store I was caught at school handing out the teacher gifts & finishing up the love pops for the kids. We didn't finish those until 1 pm then by the time we delivered all of them it was 2 & time for all the parties. WHEW! There is a little bit of concern here right now. A boy at the middle school died from menengitis last night & a teacher has been hospitalized with it. Our sitter goes there & DD's boyfriend in her class is her little brother. I can't keep the kids apart but this is just one more thing to worry about.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I am anxiously awaiting my Valentine to return after a 15 day trip to NC. She drove out yesterday and should be pulling in any minute. We are going to the Cowboy Hall of Fame for dinner. It should be really nice.

Hope everyone has a great day.
:thumbsup2

We've had several cases of meningeccocal (sp) mennigitis in this neck of the woods this year. Pretty scarry! We have had one teenager and 3 little ones die from it. 3 of them were in a town 14 miles from us. The others are scattered around. No area or connections that they can come up with.

Hi Guys,

Happy Valentine's day. Been too busy to post much. We HAVE been watching the Olympics a lot - it is one thing that I loved as a kid, and so did Amy, so we watch it almost religously. While they have gotten more commercial over the years, I still enjoy them a lot. It is a good sports segeway for us until the baseball season starts.

We just had a new "Cheeseburger in Paradise" restaurant open here, and we went there to eat last night. Pretty cool. White sand outside, covered with a dusting of snow looked just a bit odd . . . but, we had a booth in the back, they had a live band, and we almost felt like we were on vacation!

How's the puppy doing Mark? Ours is still getting house trained - fewer and fewer accidents as time goes on, and the biting is getting better.

Angie,
Wow that is scary.... :guilty:
Yes it is. DGS (16) had a touch of flu a couple of weeks ago - headache, aches and a bit of a stiff neck. We watched him like a hawk and told him that if he had even the hint of a rash on legs or trunk that he was to call us IMMEDIATELY. Our DD, Shannon, actually knows (relatives of her friend) two of the little ones that were sick, one of them very serious who is now going thru skin grafting. I cannot even imagine! :sad2:

My Valentine is working tonight until 8. I went to work very early before he woke up, so not much celebrating here. He did send me two e-cards today. It was such a nice break to get a note from him twice during my hectic day.

Lisa - very scary. Hope everyone is okay.

They didn't send home any kind of notice at the middle school yesturday. I guess that they want more information before they let everyone know about it. It pays to be inside the school I suppose. I was warned by an administrator who knows the teacher who is sick.
