Don't tell me about it!!! I fell asleep - absolutely exhausted so I'm glad DH tivo'd it. :goodvibes :goodvibes I get to watch it tonight. It was so good last week. I really like that show.

Did everyone have a great weekend? We got about 4-6 inches of snow. Enough to be pretty and have fun. DS and I went sledding. I love those inflatable raft-looking sleds. THEY FLY!!!!! We had such a good time. But I'm ready for the snow to go away so we can get our pool project underway. Too many contractors and schedules to coordinate. I'm not having fun!

This weekend was so exhausting that DH and I completely forgot about dropping the car off last night so we can get that mirror fixed. Ooops!!! Guess we will reschedule. We usually don't forget stuff like that. But DH was in bed with the flu all weekend and I was running ginger ale and toast to everyone in the family. That's probably why I couldn't stay awake for Grey's Anatomy.

Oh - and I've started my initial planning for my door signs. We're going with some friends who have never been on a cruise and I'm hoping to make a sign for each day and secretly put it up on their door.....Disney magic!!!

Hey all--
It has been quiet here, only two pages all weekend. I wasn't home all weekdend. Saturday, after I slept until 8:30 , I finished up my Sunday School stuff. Then it was off the state women's prison to do Girl Scouts with moms and daughters.

Yesterday was the qualifying swim meet for state. DD qualified in all five of her events. DS didn't qualify but didn't try real hard either, he was just out for a casual swim yesterday. He said that he didn't have anyone he was trying to beat (other teamates), the clock isn't a motavating factor for him like it is his sister. Only three more meets in the season.

We got home around 5:30 and unpacked everything. DH made a fire and we were getting set to watch the olympics, but DD found Cinderella was on the Disney channel so we ended up watching that. It put us in the Disney mood.

Mark--I was excited this morning when I turned my computer on and the count was less than 300 days. YEAH!!!

Karen--Hope DH is feeling better and that the rest of you stay healthy. I keep thinking I need to start on my signs but I'm waiting for inspiration to hit me (I might be waiting awhile!).

Hope everyone has a great day!! :sunny:

Morning everyone!

Can someone who has cruised in December before tell me what to expect as far as the water temp at CC?

We've only taken one other cruise before (Sept '05) and the temperature was really hot! Gorgeous, but hot.

Will it be too chilly to snorkel? :cold:

Thanks.

The water was warm enough for us to swim and snorkel in this past December. At first it was cold but we got used to it, with the sun beating down and the temps in the low 80s, it felt good. My DH and DD were almost the last ones in the water that day. :sunny:

Grey's Anatomy - on Sunday at 10:00. It is about a bunch of doctors/residents and their comical stuff...but has some good story lines. Not sure it is the kind of show that can go for lots of seasons, but good while it lasts.

We have cruised early Dec 4 times. It has been great weather and warm water each time at CC. Late Dec 2004 it was windy and too chilly to get in the water. Actually the wind had blown the nets out and they were not letting anyone in the water. We also cruised in mid Jan and early Feb once each and the water was fine then also.

Just want to see who has decided yet if they will be staying on sight and going to the port the morning of the 9th like us.

The air temp that time of year has been warm-hot the past two Decembers. The water temp has been freezing! It was cold for us in November in 2003 too. The kids get in & DH has snorkled but I didn't go further than testing the water with my toe last time. If you really want to get in, just go in slowly & you will adjust (go numb) and be fine. The kids played in & out of the water all day at CC.

Most people have included their pre cruise & post cruise plans on our website. :) It makes it easy to see it all in one place. It is at the bottom of the info list, before the bio for each family. :)
