Well,

Only 17 pages behind, I guess I should count that as a good night after last night's frenzy.

We went to a benefit concert for our school levy tonignt. It was all Billy Joel music from a band called the "Big Shot" band in our brand new theatre. You bad geeks would love this . . . They had the HS band play with the rock band on "Only the Good Die Young" 200 strong on the stage, it was really cool.

The Men's ensemble "drifters" also sang with the band on "for the longest time".

It was really fun!

Hello everyone........... I am still here but I have been sooooooo sick at night that I am usually stuck on the couch like a slug. I am having an ultrasound next week... I hope everyone is doing fine and I am going to scan the posts for a while to catch up but Soccer and Sickness have been the rulers in the household... I am so excited that we are leaving soon soon soon!!!!

Stress...you don't know stress

.... I have a project that's for older adults that i had to deny today. (not my fault) The developer had promised these people that they could go to settlement on Monday and Tuesday..(Uhhhh they don't even have certificate of occupancy yet

...)

I feel bad i had to tell a 70 yr old women that it's probably a no go for her move (yes, i'm the bad guy

)...To top that off when i was reviewing her unit it looks like the builder's screwed up and violated building seperation and her house is too close to the next one. Yeah now the builder has turned the buyers on me.

I have to screen all my calls...It's a nightmare....

Gosh Kristina - I'm so sad. It is easy to attack one person when you really don't know who is at fault.


.....we'll have to remember this when Lisa messes up the schedule for Pirate night....JUST KIDDING!!!.....don't want us to get wound up like the other thread.....JUST KIDDING!!! Feeling bad for Kristina and trying to make her laugh.

I think that Kim & Amy have talked about those places in the past. The closest one here is over 2 hours away.

Dinner tonight was fabulous and easy. For a working mom, these places are and compared with take out - healthier and very reasonable. We usually even have leftovers (which is rare for my hearty eating family)

I really have been saying NO quite a bit compared to last year. In fact today the cafeteria manager was kidding with me & said that parents can be thrown out. I just said that the reason I don't have a title this year is so that I can say no and I quit whenever I want. It is frustrating though because the "VP" hasn't done a rootin tootin thing yet this year. They are asking her to step down if she isn't. She has no idea when the carnival is taking place or what is happening & no....she wont be there.

yes, I love Let's Dish! I can make 16 meals (8 meals cut in half) in less than 2 hours. Plus the instructions for actual dinner day are so easy that dh doesn't mind making dinner if I am busy. I'm going again this Sunday with one of my best friends. Going with friends makes the 2 hours just fly by!

Yep....I've only been one time...but they really are great.

the awful part is that my parents are there right now. they went on the members cruise. my DF did not want me to get on the thread for the members cruise. he thinks it is really weird to be talking with people I don't even know. he told me that when he goes on vacation, he doesn't want to know anyone there except his family. he also will not do any shore excursions or Paolo ressies because he doesn't want to have to be anywhere at a certain time. I guess I don't get my vacation planning from him.
