"white sand sure make a tan look nice"

but NO ONE will know what band and song that is from!

Well I knew it was Van Halen but I had to look up what song. :teeth:

DD just turned 6 and STILL has her stroller from her 1st Christmas. :)

::yes::

I think that is something we will definitely get her. There is one in DS's classroom at school and when I drop of DS she makes a beeline for it. It is like a moth to a flame. I know she will love it! :yay:

The one big thing I can't decide on is the princess shoes. DD has that shoe thing and she likes the princesses so I can guarantee it would be a huge hit. My biggest concern is that she could not walk in them and would get hurt. The ages say 3+. :confused3 Does anyone else have them? Would a 2 year old be OK with them?

My niece is here with her little brothers and her son. We are going to carve some pumpkins. The kids are very excited since the only ones we got are too small for carving. Might have time to check in later.

DH took the kids to pick up a couple pumpkins this afternoon after the game. DD was so funny gutting her pumpkin. Later on she took the goop out for DS because he didn't want to touch it. :rotfl: She would say UGH! UGH! UGH! Absolutely UGH! I got some video of her. LOL!

Haley can walk on our tiled floors in the plastic princess shoes as well as my heels fine. Samantha on the other hand has slipping issues!

Well I just don't know....that couch is a family heirloom. My great-great Grandpa Goober gave it to us as a wedding present. :scratchin

There you go raising the price! :rolleyes1

DD walks around in all of our shoes but I don't think she has ever tried my heels because I hardly ever wear any. Our house is 80% carpeted.

anyone like Janet Jackson? I like her new song....saw the video, pretty sexy but reminds me alot of Control....dancing wise. She's the point of the pyramid. Nice moves though!

I saw her perform on Oprah. I liked the new songs too. :)

Becka - at the beginning of our subdivision...although it isn't really one...is a trailer park. It is trailer park, condos, more condos, beach. People never know there is a small community here. The trailers have all been bought and are being kicked out to make more condos.....yuck!

Not that it matters too much but you guys do realize we don't live in a trailer, right? :p

Happy Saturday all! :wave2: Only 65 pages of posts to catch up on. :surfweb:

Strange day here yesterday.

Couldn't get out of our driveway yesterday morning for a while because a huge tree limb came down and blocked the road. After some pushing/pulling, finally got it over to the side far enough that I could drive out. :moped:

Went to Best Buy to try to find out what's taking so doggone long to fix my laptop. Turns out, they've "temporarily misplaced it" in their repair facility. :confused3 Apologies all around, they're trying to "find" it, if they don't, I get a new laptop. :woohoo: And they volunteered to refund the price of my 3-year Platinum service plan because of all the problems.

Things are looking up........decide to get my COSTCO "fix", spend some time shopping, head to check out and notice the Tanzanite stone in a ring I wear off/on was gone. Retraced my steps in the store.....nothing. Don't know if I lost it moving the limb in the a.m., or in Best Buy or where. Realize it's probably gone forever.

Come home and find out that DH got the :thumbsup2 from his $$ partner to go ahead and start his company. :cheer2: (A new ring just might be in someone's future?!)

DH and the boys leave to see a movie, I head over to the Library giddy with excitement over getting to join in on chat......only to find it's closed! :sad2:

Too many ups/downs for one day! :rotfl:

Charlotte, that sounds like a real roller coaster of a day!! Hope tomorrow is all up!

I really love Janet's moves. In junior high my friend and I would be on the phone all day in the summer watching Fame. Janet being very shy in that. We dreamed of living in NY together and being on Broadway teaching at a PFA high school....how lucky were we that we had one built in Lakeland for our 9th grade year!! We were the first class!

Little girls look so cute pushing one of those strollers around. :thumbsup2 Another one of the best toys we ever got them was the FP kitchen. They would both still be playing with it if we had room for it. I gave it to our friend who has the twins a few months ago.

That really depends on her. Does she walk around in your shoes now? They have some flatter dress up shoes at the dollar tree.
