I had an electric blanket while in college...I had 2 children!!!

One year I lived in an apartment. This story is set in January. The heater stopped on a Thursday night. We all called the landlord. His wife said "He is hunting, he will fix it on MONDAY!!!!" It was in upstate PA...Mansfield is in the MOUNTAINS!!! It was literally in the teens and single digets! Anyway, my 2 roomates and some of my neighbors spent the whole weekend in our apartment cuddled under the electric blanket. There were many #$%%^%$^% directed to the LL when he returned!!! If I knew then what I know now...oh how he would have paid!!!

Well DD is in the shower and DH just took away her T.V. because of her attitude. She is going to freak when she gets out. Think I can get in the car and drive away quickly before anyone notices?

Uh oh!! Send her to Grandma's.

It is soooo nice out. Samantha, Haley and I have been outside practicing handstands, cartwheels, etc. It is hurricane windy though. I can't tell you how many orchid pots have blown over just while I was sitting there.
Samantha has been a big helper tonight. She is heloing do the dishes now!! Whoo hooo!

Yeah . . . update from the great white north . . .

It was snowing when Sophia and I got home from a spaghetti dinner at the middle school tonight - possibly an inch of accumulation tonight overnight.

No cartwheels for us!

Maybe snow angels!

My DBrother and SIL stopped by tonight with my baby nephew. It was so nice cuddling him. My son said that he is a cuttie. My DD was a little jealous...it was cute. She kept yelling at me! I love to cuddle him...but I'm glad I don't have to get up with him!!!!!

I am thinking Kim needs a baby to hold for a little while to get her "fix" until that medicine is done!

The motor on our furnace decided to stop working tonight. My DH had a miserable horrible day at work. Then he went to church to hang a banner thingie and the ladder wasn't long enough and he has to do it tomorrow. Then the furnace stopped. He currently has the motor ripped apart. He has been down there for about 3 hours so far! I feel so bad for him. I am so thankful that he is so handy. He can fix just about anything. I just hope he gets it done tonight. It is darn cold here. If he doesn't get it done...then we haev to turn on the electric heat for the kids.

Thank goodness you have backup!

I stayed in Virginia Beach this morning and flew home this morning. I thought I might be able to catch up but I'm still 20 pages behind and need to go to bed, Jackson is sick and I know he'll be up a lot tonight so I want to sleep while I can!
