"It was originally reported that the actors became engaged in a heated debate over on-set tardiness. According to various sources, Isaiah unleashed his frustration at Patrick and became physical.

"Yes we were nose to nose and words were exchanged," Isaiah says. "But then I walked off. We've apologized to each other and the crew. Everything is fine."

"Patrick and I are cool," Isaiah told Kevin in a phone interview this morning. "There was no physicality.""

You know what scares me? Where are these kids learning this from? Are they subjected to this kind of violence in their homes? And if so, do you really think the parents will correctly handle the situation when told their child is doing this or will they most likely handle it in a way that just makes the child worse?

this boy is obviously crying for attention on some level. Something is not going right in his life - where is the school psychologist? It's not like they have never dealt with a kid in need before. In pre-school they lie on the floor and kick; in elementary I guess they threaten to throw chairs - same problem - someone not getting the emotional response they crave.

I think Andy is right - they should explain to you what solutions they have come up with to deal with this.

I hope DD can get past all this difficulty.

Report: ‘Grey's Anatomy’ hunks fight on set
Washington reportedly grabbed ‘McDreamy’ Dempsey by throat

LOS ANGELES - It’s one thing for Dr. McDreamy to punch out Dr. McSteamy like he did last season on “Grey’s Anatomy.”

It’s entirely another thing for the good doctor to face off with another cast member in real life, but that appears to be the case as Dr. McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey) and Dr. Burke (Isaiah Washington) squared off on the “Grey’s” set.

Before we get to the blow-by-blow, a quick tale of the tape:

Patrick weighs in at 165 pounds; he’s 5-foot-10; sports “Dreamy” blue eyes and just turned 40.

Isaiah has 30 pounds on Patrick, a 2-inch height advantage and is 43.

Now for the details…

Dempsey and Washington squared off in what is being called a “violent brawl” on the set. Reportedly, Isaiah grabbed Patrick by the throat after an argument broke out over cast members showing up late for work.

According to one source, Isaiah was “in Patrick’s face” and said some “disgusting things.”

Isaiah’s rep hasn’t denied the incident and released the following statement to Access Hollywood:

“Differences are inevitable. They were aired, resolved, and everyone has moved on.”

Isaiah is even apparently able to joke about the incident now, telling People magazine he’d never been that close to Dr. McDreamy before and “he has really pretty blue eyes.”

Patrick actually beat out Isaiah for the role of Dr. Derek Shepherd, and in the process has become the unofficial face (and of course, hair) of “Grey’s Anatomy.”

“It was between you and Patrick Dempsey as Dr. McDreamy?” Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush asked Isaiah in a recent interview.

“We were going against each other,” Washington confirmed. “The network chose him. They wanted him as Dr. Shepherd.”

Interestingly, as Washington was vying for the “Dreamy” role, producers had another primetime star-to-be in mind for the role of Preston Burke.

Paul Adelstein, the actor who now plays creepy Secret Service Special Agent Paul Kellerman on FOX’s “Prison Break,” was the actor originally lined up to play Dr. Burke.

After reading your original post I figured it was this type of situation. Unfortunatly there really isn't a whole lot her teacher can do. I seriously hope the admin. is trying to find a different placement for this child. Again, these things unfortunately take time due to red tape and paper work.

When I was at school this afternoon I asked a teacher who works in the same general area if she knew about this student. I asked if she thought that DD was safe in that classroom. She said that the teacher has it under control and is following all of the steps. She believes that it will not be long before he is out of the classroom. One more day is too long for me but at least she is confident that the kid is being taken care of.

Cruise-related question -- Anyone else with boys......you are bringing/renting tuxes for formal night?

We've done this on the longer cruises, but I was kind of hoping to forgo it this time. But, I don't want to skip eating in the dining room. Could youngest DS get by with a pair of nice khakis and a dark navy sport coat (with shirt/tie) on Formal night? Or do I bite the bullet and rent 'em again?

Older DS now has a black suit that could almost pass for a tux.

DH will wear whatever I tell him.

(Well, not anything.....I'm pretty sure he'd give thumbs down to a banana outfit!)

You don't have to do the tuxes. This will be the first cruise that we are considering them for the guys.

You can get them on ebay for alot less than renting & then you can sell them.
