ok ok - I believe you all about loving librarians. Several years ago the ALA had a big campaign going on to try and stop the negative images of librarians that float through the media. we were supposed to write to film directors, magazine editors, authors etc and correct their impressions of librarians as the severe, bun-headed FEMALES whispering and shhhhing.

We got several interesting responses back and it was kind of fun.

We love portabello mushrooms. This makes for a very simple dinner -we grill or broil them with fresh mozzarella and very ripe tomatoes red onion and basil leaves. Drizzle with truffled olive oil - yummmm.
