DH earned the BAD BAD BAD Daddy of the year award today. I got the kids dressed and ready and he packed the diaper bag. We get to the park...are at the meet and guess what....NO FORMULA!!!!!! I wanted to wring his neck...but since I was currently meeting my new friends....I had to be nice. I later felt bad...I know he didn't forget it on purpose..but AAAHHHH!!!!

When we got home...guess what was all measured out and on the counter....the forgotten formula!

hey has anyone heard from Kim? I hope her blood pressure machine is working again.

Lisa, don't worry about Kim she will come back eventually. and John1 said he would be right back after walking the dog. Angie will check in after the desert party. poor charlotte, we don't know when she will be back. I don't think the library is open on Sunday. she will really have a lot of catching up to do

how did you manage without that? DD & DS would not touch anything other than formula when they were still on it. DH forgot ours a couple of times but I always outsmarted him by having a small reserve of dry formula. I just had to get the water from somewhere.

Since you are mentioning festivals I almost forgot that there is an unusual annual festival around here and you will never believe what it is. The Testicle Festival. I kid you not!

I seriously think that was on the travel channel or something. I remember seeing a show with that...the people were eating them.

But Brandi, all the DIS kids have to make their own meals or starve. No one gets clean clothes either. Being less than a year old is not an excuse for Eliza. She should have packed the formula!!

please come over to our house. DS math teacher has decided that is the way he is teaching this year. we have done at least 20 of them. one we could not figure out and DH found a cheat site and input the numbers we had to help out. we had been stuck on it for hours.

My DH also had a root canal done over a year ago and it wasn't feeling "quite right" earlier this summer. He went to an endodontist for a re-do. They discovered the original dentist (very reliable guy, wonderful in fact -- did mine a few years earlier) left a smallish piece of metal way down inside his tooth area. They never mentioned it to him.

The re-do isn't helping, either. It's starting to hurt again.

So, do you think that's kosher to have left the metal in there without telling him? The only thing I can figure is it was some kind of dental implement that broke off and it was too hard to get out.

Such a charming subject to chat about, huh?!

Well, I don't see where it is any different than a surgeon leaving a sponge inside a patient on the operating table. Yes, it happens...and other stuff that would make you shudder. The stories I heard growing up as the kid of a surgical assistant....OY! IMO that dentist should be held responsible...and pay the cost of correcting his actions.
