I'm a Diet Coke gal.

That's the only problem with being at the Library.....they won't let you have snacks near the computers! Every so often, I have to wonder up front to their "cafe" area and get my Diet Coke fix or I become

I share the diet Coke addiction (although my addiction branches out to Coke Zero and Diet Dr Pepper). But, more importantly, I'm jealous of a library with a CAFE!!!!!!

You guys will NOT believe what happened to me today! I had to go to work and I have had no access whatsoever to a computer all day long. I come home and I find out that DH has been PRETENDING to be me ALL DAY LONG on the DIS!!! The horror! He looks pretty guilty so I am thinking he may not have behaved. But everyone should not worry because I will take care of him and it will not happen again!

Well, now you've gone and done it! I burst out laughing so loud this time reading this, another librarian came up to me, giggling and asked if I was o.k.! Seriously!!

I had to tell her about the cruise, the DISboards, the bananas.....but guess what....she's a kindred spirit-in-disguise-as-a-librarian! I am happy to say, I am not banned. She wants to take her kids on a Disney cruise sometime and wanted to know all about the DIS! Ha!

Missy - wonder why they didn't find it until then? My oldest has had hearing screenings, but I'm trying to remember if it was for school or if I requested it!
Cute on the resting his eyes! My youngest fell asleep at dinner one time - had his head in his plate!! LOL He used to fall asleep at dinner a lot!

she actually was tested eight times before they found it. she has profound to severe loss in only certain decibels (sp). the school kept saying there was a problem with her hearing but the pediatrician kept saying she was fine.

I was looking on the manifest to see who was on the same deck with me -
there are 20 rooms on deck 2!!!! 13 rooms on deck 6 (15 if you count the others from my group who aren't online)!!! CJS and the bride are on my deck!!! Hmmm...we better warn the groom!!!!

Add 3 more to the deck 6 count for the members of my family who aren't online.

DH asked if I was using the computer in my office. I wondered whether it was a trick question as I was sitting in our bedroom using the ibook. "Why?" I asked cautiously. He got this disturbed look on his face like why is this a production?! He wanted to watch Heroes. I offered to let him use the ibook and he said"Why would I want to watch something on an iBook when I can watch it on a 23" monitor.

Now I am thinking "quick how can I deter him" but what could I say "I don't want you using my computer because I think I am still logged in and my main page may be he cruise meet thread or heaven forbid I forgot to close something down and you see that I was chatting late never mind talking to those DIS strangers via conference call until 2A." Double Oy. So instead I said "No problem"

I drove the CRV again and also drove the Pilot for good measure. I am so glad I did. Three years ago I hated the CRV and loved the Pilot. This time I liked both (love the power in the Pilot) but felt the Pilot felt too big. I thought if I yelled toward the back I'd get an echo back. So I think I'm leaning toward the CRV. The question now is Nav or not.

Well Missy, we could always meet halfway in Columbus - it would be a min-mini meet since it would just be two families.

I will be in Columbus for the Ohio School Boards Association Conference in early November.
