Pj -- For a second, I thought you were firing up the 'ole oven a month too soon. Just realized you're in Canada!

Happy Thanksgiving!

well only could stop in for a minute but at least I am staying caught up. love the smilies Becka--where do you find all of them. we are off to soccer and after that DH wants to go out for dinner before coming back and painting the trim in the hallway. tomorrow we are going to have a door painting party and paint the hallway walls. everyone have a wonderful saturday. I hope the mini meet goes well, I am very jealous.

Missy
Missy - have fun!
and way to go on the painting!! That might have to be my winter project this year! :artist:

DD seems to be in a good mood. She wanted to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and sit on the couch with her Daddy. How could I say No to that little face? ;)

Diet Coke is all I drink
(other than hard liquor and wine coolers, that is!! :lmao: and the occasional mountain dew!)

Kindred spirit! But, you lose me on the Mountain Dew....probably because I drank too much of it in my teen years. Amazing I can even remember that FAR back! :rotfl2:

I am also a soda for breakfast kind of gal. I usually have a Diet Pepsi first thing when I get to work. :sad2:

I had to give it up when I was pregnant with DD and that was so HARD but I didn't have any until after she was born! I had given up soda a few months before I was pregnant with DS - although I was craving it so bad there at the end. I was in the hospital with pre-eclampsia and DH insisted that DS would be fine if I caved in and gave in so he went to Dairy Queen and brought me back a big Coke and one of those giant Peanut Buster Parfaits. I scarfed them both down and my water broke not 4 hours later! :rotfl: I think it was a shock to my system!

had to post one more time. our oldest never woke up for any noise. It wasn't until 2nd grade that we found out she has profound to severe hearing loss in both ears. we thought she was a deep sleeper and thought her speech was just developmentally delayed. she made do by learning to read lips a little and asking for help a lot. she now wears hearing aides to school but take a vacation from them during vacations. she does well enough without them but really misses them when she doesn't have them for school work.

our second could fall asleep anywhere anytime. we were at church when he was five. he had broken his elebow the afternoon before and they gave him some pain meds with codeine because it could not be set. I was holding him when he started snoring sooooo loud. the reverend even said something. I talked with him after church and aplogized and explained what happened and he said god was just letting him catch up on some much needed sleep. he also fell asleep during him first communion mass. we have a picture of him. he says he was just resting his eyes.
Missy - wonder why they didn't find it until then? My oldest has had hearing screenings, but I'm trying to remember if it was for school or if I requested it!
Cute on the resting his eyes! My youngest fell asleep at dinner one time - had his head in his plate!! LOL He used to fall asleep at dinner a lot!
Have a good time!

Yes - way too much cute stuff that I must buy at full price! Girls are expensive! The cute stuff never lasts until sale time so I have learned it I like it I had better just get it right away and unfortunately I like way too much stuff. :)
